By far, this is the worst care I have ever received at any VA facility. The level of incompetence and negligence at this clinic is beyond unacceptable. From rude and unprofessional desk staff to lost paperwork that was repeatedly filled out incorrectlyâespecially for the medical boardâthe disorganization is staggering. Phone calls go unanswered for hours, and when I walked in one time, I was met with nothing but blank stares, seemingly because I brought my electric scooter.
But the real failure here is the medical treatment itself. When I reported serious symptomsâsevere pain, stomach issues, and difficulty using the restroomâthe nurse simply told me to drink water and eat fiber instead of ordering necessary lab work. This dismissive and inadequate medical care led to me losing a kidney. If this is how they treat veterans, I can only imagine how many others have suffered, or worseâlost their livesâdue to similar negligence. No veteran should be subjected to such reckless disregard for their health.
The only reason this review is two stars instead of one is because of Erika at the front desk and Dr. Carpenter. They were the only two professionals who provided real care and compassion. They deserve recognition for actually doing their jobs. Unfortunately, their efforts are overshadowed by a facility that operates with a complete lack of accountability.
Veterans have sacrificed too much to receive this kind of treatment. This clinic needs serious reform before more lives are put at risk.
