Garland Landmark Museum - Garland (TX)

5 /5 Katrina Dawn Miller: Really neat museum to learn about the history of Garland, Texas. I enjoyed the second floor that has the history of the cotton, Kraft Foods building, and the old Garland newspapers. The museum is inside an old train station.

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff members, Sarah and Emily. Their enthusiasm and knowledge about the museums exhibits truly enhanced my visit.

5 /5 Kyle McCarthy: Delightful small museum in an old train station in downtown Garland. We learned this small town is considered the Cowboy Hat Capital of Texas because several large hat factories are there. It was also an important agricultural center which the exhibits explained. Nice small collection and wonderful guide. No fee to get in, so a nice way to get to know small town America.
