Gene Roblyer: History/Historical venture at its best. Take a step back in time, to visualize what it used to be like, and then realize you are here and seeing it first hand. This is a well presented and maintained facility. You owe it to yourself to stop in and meet the fine folks of Lamesa, Texas. Please keep up the good work. God Bless Retired Chef Gene

Deb Thompson: What an amazing stay we had. Peaceful. Quiet. Great hiking trails. The absolute friendliest staff I have ever met. The bathrooms are spotless and heated. Showers with hot water. The lake is beautiful. Saw some ?wild? Horses. The ranger shooshed them back to the woods. Never saw that in Ohio, lol. Spaces are great. We did a pull through but most back in spots are good as well. A few have a high lip or small drop, so watch your stabilizer jacks. We will be back next year!

Pilar H L: Great experience. Every piece of their whimsical collection is well thought out and lovely presented, and the guide who gave us a tour truly showed us why Texas is the friendliest State. We couldn’t love more the tour they gave us, so did our kids. Really, this visit was the cherry on the top of our trip! Thanks a lot! As a single suggestion, I would encourage adding a venmo qr code printed on a piece of paper on the counter, to make it possible to donate to the museum after the exceptional and fun tour if you aren’t carrying any cash.

Deepesh Gupta: Amazing park with nice lake, and big playground for the kids. The camping area and restrooms are well maintained. We did 2 nights camping and really enjoyed it in May with nice weather.

Chris M: Extremely well maintained entrance and trails. They even have walking sticks to use and return. We only got to do a .96mi loop bc the rest was too muddy from the recent rains. So many beautiful wildflowers, birds, butterflies, and deer tracks. We will definitely be back when the rest of the trail dries out.

Farhan Rahman Arnob: Beautiful well organised park. Little bit smaller than North lake. But, it has more light on the trail track. Fountain increased it’s beauty. But, little bit looks flat and straight. Daily walking would be boring.

Hannah Mendez: Great informational tour of Dentons rich history. We loved touring the houses and cabin with all of its intricacies and details! The tour guide was friendly, personable, and deeply knowledgeable!Highly recommend if you love history and architecture or are looking to immerse yourself in the Victorian era!
    Water Works Park - Denton
    Water Works Park
Rainbow Fairy: This is my favorite water park! Not so crowded that it takes forever to get on the slides. Not so empty that it feels like a ghost town. They have all of the classic stuff, like the wave pool, lazy river, kids area, and a variety of slides. You can bring your own food, which is perfect for restricted diets. They let you take off and hold water shoes on the slides, which is way better than Hurricane Harbor. Hurricane Harbor doesnt allow that, which means you can either not wear shoes (and burn your feet on the scalding pavement), or not ride slides. The cost is way lower than Hurricane Harbor too. Its the perfect water park.
