4 /5 Adam Miklosi: Great river for kayaking and fishing, very quiet and peaceful place, to get in/out of water can be challenging with kayaks, unfortunately able to see trash around, there is room for improvement. Free little parking spot from Miller road

4 /5 Amy Steele: I give this 4 stars overall simply for the lovely paddle. Lots of birds, heard an owl, the creek is shaded nearly the whole way North. Got out and found fossils, Buffalo teeth, turtle shell, cool rocks. Great place to kayak, but tons of trash. If you think of all of the bags and clothes in the trees swaying in the breeze, one of our group said they were like prayer flags. Could really benefit from a cleanup. Put in was easy, could benefit from having more trash cans.

5 /5 Earng Heng: Great place for fishing and picnicking, but take your trash back out. Keep park beautiful for everyone to use.

3 /5 Gary Leavelle: Not a great put-in. Would hope the city would consider developing a canoe/kayak put-in. Once on the water, its a nice flatwater paddle. Paddled up to Firewheel Pkwy and back. Sad to see the amount of trash like others have commented.

1 /5 Diana McLaughlin: Used needles and trash everywhere…not a place to take kids. Crappy humans ruined this fishing spot.
