5 /5 Ashley Ridge: Everyone should visit this place and read everything. Its a beautiful and emotional memorial. The Paris Texas Eiffel Tower with the Cowboy Hat is awesome, too. There is no wait, and you do not have to pay to go in, but they do have a box where you can donate.

Great photo spot and a quick, fun visit if you’re in the area. There’s even a veterans memorial nearby—makes it more than just a novelty.

5 /5 Michelle M Tucker: Charming little piece of Paris. Park was very cleaned and maintained. A little busy with tourists. The veterans memorial was peaceful and they did a great job honoring the veterans. A lot of generations serci g their country in this area.

5 /5 Deb S: We were taking my mom to Paris Texas for her first visit in 80 years since birth. The tower was fun to snap photos with but thats about it. The sight was very clean and well kept. The Red River Valley Veterans Memorial was an awesome memorial. Nicely put together and very well kept up. Take your time walking around since that’s pretty much all there is to do. I would be nice for a few gift shops right near by to browse through. We learned later there may have been a gift shop miles away in the downtown area but we were already headed down the road. I would recommend a visit there just for the novelty of the sight.

Littlefield Lands Duggan House - Littlefield

Rachel Maurer: A really nice small local county museum in one of the nicer older homes in Littlefield.Ebery summer, usually in mid-June or mud-July they host a wonderful wine tasting with wined from Canon City, Colorado. The woman N who brings the wine down, grew up in Littlefield and its her wonderful way of giving back to the community where she was raised. If you are in the are in the summer. Call and find out when the wine tasting is. You wont regret it. The volunteers who staff the museum have a wealth of knowledge about the farming & ranching area, so ask your questions.

Hanna Springs Sculpture Garden - Lampasas

Joshua Glendenning: A very nice place for a solar eclipse and some varied interesting art. There is a small monarch butterfly garden from an Eagle Scout project that helps with the stench near by. I think the smell is from the small stagnant water drainage it seems. The art sculptures are fun and varied. There was ton of parking during the eclipse so there should be plenty any other time.

Lampasas County Museum - Lampasas

Tiffany Willhite: Small little museum but has a ton of information in it. And lots of memorabilia. I would definitely recommend taking your kids.

Worlds Largest Spur - Lampasas

Anthony Riviera: We called it a life changing experience. Who would ever think you would see the worlds largest spur in real life. We loved it!

Texas Wendish Heritage Museum - Giddings

Greg Schwarting: We ate our picnic on their shady porch & enjoyed the flowers. Attendant was very welcoming and informative. They have a winderful, interesting display of items that belonged to the Wendish settlers. A gem of a place. We enjoyed the kitchen items, war uniforms, school display, traditionally dressed manicans.

Giddings Firemans Park - Giddings

Eric c: 4th of July event was 2 trailers selling smoked meat for 100 dollars a brisket or 65 for a smoked pork butt. No music or anything else. 30 mile drive to see 8 people sadly sitting in the heat getting ate up by bugs, looking for something to do.

Fort Boggy State Park - Centerville

Karen Landis: We have enjoyed this quiet little park on several occasions. The lake is serene, with an easy hiking trail that goes around it. There’s a large picnic area at the lake. The cabins here are very nice, very clean, with a great balcony viewing the woods. We enjoy staying here. Note that you cannot park your car directly in front of the cabins, except for the ADA cabin that’s close to the parking area. We use a wagon to carry our gear to the cabin. The staff here is friendly and has always been very helpful.

Tyler Thibeaux: Up early this morning so I chose this place to drive by and take some photos. The oaks were incredible and the park was peaceful and gorgeous in the morning. Ill be back to check out the lake trail. 5 stars.
