5 /5 Greg Schwarting: We ate our picnic on their shady porch & enjoyed the flowers. Attendant was very welcoming and informative. They have a winderful, interesting display of items that belonged to the Wendish settlers. A gem of a place. We enjoyed the kitchen items, war uniforms, school display, traditionally dressed manicans.

5 /5 Samuel John: Couldn’t get to see the inside of the museum, arrived a bit late. But the calmness, the old machinery exhibits placed outside, the old wood cabin transports you back in time! Come here to escape the city sounds!

5 /5 Cindy Blue: Enjoyed this historical area tremendously! There are several areas to visit including the museum and store, old log school house and amazing church. The attendants are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Well worth your time!

5 /5 Laurence Jackson: Not only wonderful during the Wendish Festival (but spectacular then). Features all kinds of exhibits about the culture, language and history of this fascinating people. In Texas, "yall means all," and this is the place to expand your understanding of immigrants in the Lone Star State.
