1 /5 Anne Longworth: I moved to Bastrop in May, 2020 and contacted Dr Batlle as a new patient to transfer and renew my prescriptions. This simple process took over a week. I take very common medicines. I called his office every couple of days to check status and was given some excuse each time by the office staff. I finally reached the Doctor and he seemed to have a chip on his shoulder because he argued with me and went out of his way to make me seem foolish. I finally got through to him, saying that I wasn’t arguing with him, I just didn’t know what he wanted me to do, or how to do it. We got that cleared up, and then he phoned the pharmacy and gave them the wrong patient’s name. I don’t know what his problem was but that kind of mistake could really harm someone. Thanks to HEB Pharmacy the mistake was corrected, and I requested a new doctor the very next day. If you choose to deal with Dr Batlle, be careful and double-check every detail.
