They do not listen to there patients. I feel it is very important to listen to your patient’s concerns. They just told me there was nothing wrong with me without even looking at me. They completely belittled my symptoms and all they had done was my blood pressure. I’ve never felt more disrespected in a hospital ever. Do not come here, they do not care about their patients. I had wrote a longer description of my experience. Weird how somehow they took it down. That’s how you know there is issues going on within that emergency room.
Brainwell Psychiatry and Mental Health PLLC - Bastrop John Goonen: The doctors and PAs are thorough and listen. In the mental health field many providers have lost their interest in full recovery of their patients, but Brainwell has shown to be the opposite. I highly recommend them.
CARTS Bastrop Station - Bastrop M S G: What an awesome service! Used CARTS from Bastrop to Austin airport and I cant believe what an easy and affordable process it was. I arrived a few minutes early to the Carts station to buy my ticket ($4 cash one way, or on the Journey app) and got a quick rundown by the helpful staff in the office (cant remember her name unfortunately) and soon after I was on my way. The bus is comfortable with plenty of room, ac works really well, and most importantly the driver was great and a safe driver.
There is plenty of parking spaces to leave your car overnight, even for a smaller station.
Such a cool service for Bastrop and surrounding areas. I will definitely be using it more in the near future.
Allen Jarzombek, MD - Bastrop alyne ekberg: The thing that I like so much about Dr. Jarzombek is he allows input from the patient. It makes it comfortable to ask questions and maybe suggest something other than what he thinks. He is a very good doctor.
Bastrop Veterinary Hospital - Bastrop Patty Peebles: My 3 active dogs Dancer 13, Georgia 2, and little Sandy 7 weeks getting lifelong care at Bastrop Vet Hospital! Old Duke at 19 years died there in my lap. Love all the vets weve had there over the years!
Genesis Aesthetics - Bastrop Jesse and Samantha Medina: This is the most amazing place. They actually care about you and take time during appointments. I am used to doctor’s rushing appointments, but Dr. Doughtery goes through EVERYTHING from your history to questions and never rushes. I went to an initial appointment first to discuss the options and pricing. I then came back a month later when I was ready to start. I brought my 3 year old son to the appointment and it was no issues at all! They have an AMAZING Childrens room with a train set, toys, and things to keep my son busy during my appointment. I felt accepted during my appointment and encouraged to make healthy choices. I signed up for the weight management program after speaking with several people around town that had amazing results. I highly recommend. If you are serious about weight loss, willing to do the work, then I highly recommend since this will give you a huge PUSH to success.

The Bastrop Birthing Center - Bastrop J BB: I love the birth center! I have gotten such great care for each pregnancy from the midwives. Dont hesitate to reach out for more information. I recommend doing this early into pregnancy so you can secure your due date with the team. The center is also beautiful and extremely comforting.
I was a transfer for my first birth but that does NOT mean anything wrong happened during my care, I was overdue. I was supported by Ellie at the hospital and had a fantastic postpartum. The care I received led to my baby and me being super healthy and I knew I would still come back here (which I did 2 years later with baby 2) regardless.
