5 /5 Wendy Douglas: Dr. Akkanti has a Very kind and tolerant demeanor. Has a great "sense of humor." ("bedside manner" as us GenXers call it) she treats my grandkids with the kindest heart. I should mention the staff as well. Very helpful with insurance and billing issues. Customer service is exemplary. We had issues with insurance, and they walked me right through it. Great resolution. My grands got their physicals on time! And apparently, it was a very comedic event as I heard they laughed their @$$#$ off in the room.

1 /5 Lay: Great doctor, HORRIBLE admin staff. Hardly answer the phone or return calls but are goofing off and don’t acknowledge/greet you when you come in for the appointment. Slow and disorganized with referrals. No sense of urgency. I could go on.

1 /5 Deidra Flowers: While Dr. Akkantis patient interaction is acceptable, her staff is very rude. While paying a bill, I told the staff member that I also needed to make an appointment. She rudely stated that I must pay the bill before making the next appointment. I found her to be short with her tone but I understood the bill needed to be paid and I did so. As soon as the bill was paid she hung up in my face. I thought maybe this was an accident. Maybe the phone disconnected. I even tried to call back to make the appointment but no answer. They didnt even try to call me back. I wont be going back to this office. Patient care starts not only with the doctors and nursing staff but the administrative staff as well.

1 /5 matthew gibson: Worst clinic in Central Texas they do not pick up the phone tried multiple times Using option 1,2,3 and 4 When you leave a message, they do not respond ever you literally have to drive all the way there just to ask a question. And when you get there, the ladies at the desk are always rude. I would not recommend

2 /5 Mr Richardson: I need to update this review. I now give them a two star. This is because of making appointments, paying bills and follow up phone calls that just do not happen nine times out of 10. No one answer the phone anymore. They do not call you back when you leave messages. For over 3 years now they have used the excuse that our phone system has issues and it doesnt work correctly. People thats more than 3 years that this has been ongoing. I now have to come in person just to make an appointment and to pay my bills. I have called every phone number that they have just to make appointments, get my lab results, schedule follow-up appointments and to pay bills and it doesnt matter what number you call or leave a voice message on theyre not going to call you back nine times out of 10. You have to do everything in person. I dont know what has happened. Ive even brought it up to the doctor and she says the same thing oh its our phone. No its the employees and I dont know why shes covering for them anymore at this point. If you can get an appointment to see the doctor you usually have no issues and she does a fine job.
