What Clients Are Saying about Don Pedrito Jaramillo Shrine (on GG)
5 /5 Alejandro Flores: It’s always a pleasure visiting but it’s getting old needs a attention
4 /5 Monica G.: I went in July, it was really hot! No one else was there. It looks like someone cleaned up a recent defacement that occurred. I love the ambiance. If you wish to light a candle take 1 with you along with a monetary donation of you want to donate. You dont have to.
4 /5 Dora Jean Flores: I always make a stop to get water from here before heading to the Virgen de San Juan in the valley. Lately, the water is shut off, and the place is starting to look like it needs more attention. I would hate to see this place forgotten. Whoever manages this place, please dont forget its history because some of us have been passed down this historic location by our elders who have passed on.
5 /5 Sanjuanita Garcia: My family and I go once a year to go and visit Don Pedrito Jaramillo shrine to pay our respects and leave them what we promised the candles the pictures the letters
Gayathri Iyer: It was one of the best experiences ever. We really loved it. It is worth the drive and visit. They have a very fun train ride that even adults can sit. It’s free and they take us around 6 or 7 times. It’s such a fun experience and brought the kid back in me. My husband enjoyed it a lot of too.
Inside they have two model trains that you can go inside and take a look. You can also go into the building where they give you free coffee, have a cute coffee shop and also they have so many model trains. Their set up is so beautiful. The people are also so friendly and hospitable and very knowledgeable. They showed us how they set it up and also different sizes of model trains that were available. Some are so tiny.
We would definitely be back soon to see what else they have. If you have kids I would definitely recommend you to take them here
JESSE LINDNER: There is a great deal of historical artifacts and information. The displays were well organized. The ladies who were there were friendly and were eager to share their knowledge of the items in the museum.
James Miller: Amazing collection! Passionate owners, with a wealth of knowledge and history. Unique bikes and artifacts that can’t be seen anywhere else. Highly recommend.
Reilly Becker: So so beautiful! Highly recommend this state park. Facilities are well kept. I have never seen park rangers monitor any better than here. I liked camping here so much I’d come back! We even saw beautiful wildlife (fox, turtles, deer, cats, and birds) and tons of wildflowers (we came mid-May). I love that it is entirely dog friendly (even swimming areas and all trails). Come to Inks!
Charlene Perez: Really enjoyed our visit to Longhorn State Cavern! The cavern is beautiful and our tour guide, Jim, was phenomenal! He kept everyone engaged and was extremely knowledgable! You can visit without booking a tour, but I highly recommend doing the tour. There are a few trails and all were beautifully maintained, marked and easy to follow. The visitor center was also phenomenal and offered a variety of gifts for purchase! They also had pizza, pretzels and other snacks available. There is also an area behind the visitor center with picnic tables that is perfect to do some bird watching! We were able to see cardinals!
Harris Jake “AH0meLEssguy”: Cool little WWII museum with lots of authentic exhibits! The volunteers were AWESOME and knowledgeable about the collection as well as the stationary AND working aircraft that you can walk right up to (and even get inside of a couple!)
Kalia A.: I love the historical meaning of this place and think it’s a great swimming area, however sometimes it’s too loud with people’s music. Also, some people could do a better job of not littering. Besides that, it’s a really good spot to relax and get a good swim in. There are no alligators to worry about :)
