Charlene Perez: Really enjoyed our visit to Longhorn State Cavern! The cavern is beautiful and our tour guide, Jim, was phenomenal! He kept everyone engaged and was extremely knowledgable! You can visit without booking a tour, but I highly recommend doing the tour. There are a few trails and all were beautifully maintained, marked and easy to follow. The visitor center was also phenomenal and offered a variety of gifts for purchase! They also had pizza, pretzels and other snacks available. There is also an area behind the visitor center with picnic tables that is perfect to do some bird watching! We were able to see cardinals!

Harris Jake “AH0meLEssguy”: Cool little WWII museum with lots of authentic exhibits! The volunteers were AWESOME and knowledgeable about the collection as well as the stationary AND working aircraft that you can walk right up to (and even get inside of a couple!)

Kalia A.: I love the historical meaning of this place and think it’s a great swimming area, however sometimes it’s too loud with people’s music. Also, some people could do a better job of not littering. Besides that, it’s a really good spot to relax and get a good swim in. There are no alligators to worry about :)

Will Ritter: Small campground for RVs and tents with nice network of hiking trails. Hike along the clear fork river or hike the CCC trail for switchbacks and elevation gain and loop back down the Caddy trail. Golfing too if you are into that but and swimming pool. I would live in Lockhart just to have this park nearby!

Melissa Jourden: A charming old historic jail built in the distinct Norman castellated style. The first floor has lots of information, artifacts, and history…the 2nd - 4th floors house the old cells - lots of peeling paint and rust for sure..but a great self-guided tour that allows you pretty much free access to every cell..every room…every nook and cranny. Reallly worth the 5.00 to wander around.

David Vielma: Lots od outer rim parking. You kind of have to drive around to the back behind the bus parking area to find a parking space if crowded. The track will be clearly marked for beginning and ending.

Deepak: Visited on a weekday during holiday. Place was peaceful and serene. Lighthouse was closed during the visit and inferred that its opened during the community center hours.(call before arriving here) You can take photos on the exterior of the lighthouse. Theres an ample parking space for Car and RVs with accessibility parking options. Would like to visit again. Have a good time while in here.
