Candice Bower: I brought my two kids to get seen here for the flu and the staff were extremely friendly! We were in and out in about an hour. I was very pleased with the doctor’s bedside manner and loved how he spoke to my kids. I will definitely go here first before another urgent care in the future.
Jennifer Reppond: We switched last year from our previous health care facility. We love this facility. We love the staff and the healthcare professionals. The doctor listens to you and your concerns. The professionals we have seen are more of what I call old-school, and I like this approach. They listen to you and work with you in helping to get your concerns taken care of.
Cate Barkis: Very very caring. She works super hard for her patients and has a heart of gold. I have never met another person like her. She is seriously incredible. I love you!
Donna Jean: My husband had a stroke last November when we were in Texas visiting our son. My husband was transferred to Baylor Scott. It turned out to be a godsend that if he had to have a stroke that it happened while we were in Texas. The entire staff on their neurological floor were amazing. He was an ICU for 6 days. The doctors explained everything to him in great detail, letting him know why some course of treatments would be better to pursue than others. The ICU nurses were amazing. I wish that I had written down their names to put on this review. Just when I would think that one of the nurses we had couldnt be topped another one stepped in and managed to top the prior nurse. Im not sure how they did it because like I said, they were all amazing! A special shout out to Mitzi in the records department. She was instrumental in making sure that we had all my husbands medical records and scans to bring back with us to Florida so that the doctors here would have all the information they needed to continue his treatment. I wish that we had the Baylor Scott Health Care System here in South Florida. If you have a loved one on the neurological floor just know that they are receiving the best care that they can get in the entire country.
Sabrina Nickels: Dr Thornton, her team, and lab staff are all amazing. Im so happy I chose them as my PCP team. They have never once made me feel like a woman in hysterics or tried to blame my weight for my health problems. Their team is so incredibly supportive and I feel genuinely care for their patients. Their lab staff is also incredibly understanding about needle phobias, and hands down the best experience Ive ever had with needles.
I Alone: Ive had two lousy experiences at this clinic.
The first one happened in 2019, I had some issues following outpatient surgery that needed attention. I did a Saturday walk-in, was charged a visit fee (over $100 IIRC), then the nurse I was assigned to told me that clinic didnt perform that function. I never got my money back, and due to my health condition at the time, didnt have the time or energy to do the battle required to get a refund. Okay fine, they screwed me when I was down, good on you MFers.
The second incident happened this week, arrived for my appt on time but was ignored for an hour. I had to leave to return to work. Im now looking into whether they are charging me and/or my insurance for non-service.
A minor thing, they fumbled the ball for several weeks before getting a new Rx to my pharmacy.
A: Neither good nor bad, it is very cold in the building, I advise you to always take a warm sweater with you at least. Two girls working at the reception are sitting in sweaters. It is not clear why no one adjusts the air conditioner so that everyone is comfortable. Moreover, sick people and small children come to them.
As far as I understand, military families come to this clinic. Because when entering, to get a ticket, you need to scan the card.
It is not clear why they do not answer phone calls to their clinic, because the girls at the reception have plenty of free time, but I have never heard their phone ring, it is strange...
I was seen quite quickly, I had to wait for the doctor for about half an hour.
Afterward, the doctor told me to go to the pharmacy window and pick up the medicine.
In total, I spent about 1 hour - 1:30 hours in this clinic.
Unfortunately, this clinic did not keep its promise to provide the test results the next day. Nobody called me, so I had to go there myself to address the issue.
