5 /5 Annie Oak: Awesome place, free admission- we paid 2 dollars for street parking (museum parking is 20 bucks). 4 stories lots to see! They do have elevators but honestly I liked going in the stairs. If you have kids please do not let them get close too the paintings because security will yell at you.

5 /5 rabia selli: I didn’t know there was such a museum in Dallas. I came across it while browsing Google and it’s definitely a place worth seeing. It offers an incredible atmosphere, showcasing the experiences of many countries and different centuries in all their beauty. The experience is somewhat reminiscent of the British Museum — on a smaller scale, but with the same level of quality, like a gallery. I just wish they promoted it better.

5 /5 Tim Lam: The Dallas Museum of Art is one of the gems of Dallas. The main exhibits are always free and the special exhibits are usually $20. The first Sunday of the month is free, even for the special exhibits. If you want to save some money and don’t mind the crowds that’s the time to go! Currently, Yayoi Katsama’s All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins is on display and runs through January 18, 2026. It comes at a hefty cost ($21.50 per person), but if you have never seen it, it’s a really awesome experience that you won’t soon forget!

5 /5 Abhinav Joshi: The best part - it is free entry (except for a very few exhibitions or ongoing events). The museum is full of artifacts from around the world - very ancient to relatively modern. One definitely feels a little awed when you see something which has survived 4500 years!!! Take kids along, it is a nice educational experience. All in, at a leisurely pace, it would take about 2 hours.

4 /5 Aarati: It was our 1st visit here. If you are someone who enjoys reading about each & every art exhibit , you should definitely plan to spend at least 3 hours at the Museum. I enjoyed looking at all of the art and admiring some amazing carving skills on some of these exhibits. We did not time our trip well and so there were still some exhibits that we did not get to look at. I will surely be back here and spend a leisurely amount of time looking at all the art and soaking in the history behind it. The museum does have its own parking for 20$. We found that a bit too much and parked out on the street at the paid parking area for much cheaper. The Klyde Warren Park is just a small walk across the museum , so you could finish with the museum and head to the park and enjoy some food & drinks from the food trucks parked there.
