1 /5 Trager Nathan: I want to begin by saying that I HARDLY ever write a bad review. I also very rarely give a place less than 3 stars. Unfortunately, not only does Covenant Im Levelland deserve less than 3 stars, they have demonstrated a pattern of behaviors so appallingly unprofessional and neglectful it is shocking that this place is a hospital! I also want to add that Im sure there are a great group of folks who work here and I will, therefore, limit my critique to the members who staff the ER. About the ER: its poorly staffed. By that I mean that the apathy is so pervasive and overt I can only assume it is part of the culture.
While I said this is a pattern, Ill just share tonights experience and let yall decide.
The evening before last my partner was working outside at the house. That night he tells me his elbow keeps cramping. Since elbows are not known as cramping hotspots, I asked him to show me. See the pictures for a look at it. At first I just noticed how swollen it was. Then today when I saw it I noticed three sets of puncture wounds. Around each set, presumably from a spider, the red area had grown out to encompass a larger section of surrounding tissue and where the bites were emerged pale white blotches.
Since it was worse, we decided to go to the ER. We drove 30 miles to the nearest hospital. We registered upon arrival but they did not even ever run us through triage! They just told us to wait in the waiting room. We sat there. Sat there. Then sat some When we asked what the hold up was, the receptionist told us the nurse was making a bed and would be right over. No one ever came. After two hours, we just left. We drove another 30 miles and are now at the ER Im Lubbock.
