Nahir Soto: The staff are friendly and Dr. Elizondo is very approachable and seems to care about his patients.
However, the wait times are way too long. On previous occasions, I have had to wait approximately an hour to be called from the waiting area and then 30 minutes to be actually seen by the doctor in the exam room.
On a more recent occasion, I arrived literally 2 minutes past my scheduled time. Instead of being understanding about the situation, I was outright refused and told to come back and reschedule. While I could have understood being placed at the bottom of the list to be fair to other patients, I cannot understand how 2 minutes means losing an appointment. I lose an entire afternoon waiting to be seen, but 2 minutes is losing the appointment.
Glenn Setzer: AVOID THE BROWN TEAM!!! Ive been in the system for decades. I have medical conditions that need monitoring. I transferred from Florida to here and in my 1st visit here the doc said "its too difficult to get my VA records from Fla so I get to start from scratch " WHAT THE HECK!!! Its a simple point/click process. I was sick during the winter, I reached out for help twice. His staff said hes been informed then Nothing. He totally ignored me. If you have ever been there you know its dead in there, never more than 3 people waiting yet he is an hour late every time. Once, after an hour he comes in and stands in front of me with his fly open and shirt peeking out. Good God he cant even put his pants on much less provide prompt and attentive care. He was an hour and 15min late for a freaking virtual appointment. He has No Respect for your time. He still hasnt pulled my records so my health issues have gone unmonitored for over a year. Ive tried to not rock the boat but Ive had enough. Hes clearly there for a easy check and by ignoring peoples previous health issues i feel hes deadly. To make it worse he hides behind his front line staff. Until recently I felt sorry for them but I no longer feel that way. BROWN is the perfect color for this group. AVOID THIS VA FACIALLY AT ALL COST.
Clint Rowe: Dr. Winnie and his staff are very professional and friendly. They treat me with respect and do everything in a timely manner. I would recommend the MDVIP program to anyone who cares about their health. Overall, it has been a wonderful experience.
Cassandra Soliz: I wish we didnt have to give him any stars to do this. Comment yesterday at 6 PM. They called me and they told me that thing. Were gonna cancel my daughters appointment on Monday. And that she wasnt gonna be seen because she needed a whole new referral, because my insurance change, but theres a secondary insurance. They told me they werent gonna see her. Because the insurance got denied with the first claim and they entered the wrong insurance. This whole time, which wasnt my fault. They had all week to call me, let me know, but no, they decided to call me on a Friday at 6 PM when my pediatrician is closed to get A. Referral, I seriously think this office is ridiculous. They are money hungry. Just because one insurance got declined, but my secondary paid it, so I dont know what theyre crying about.
Brent Townsend: Fast covid vaccines. All recommended vaccines and boosters available. Clean facility. Nice staff. 10 minute wait after shot. Im glad the Corpus Christi health department has kept the covid clinics open.
