5 /5 Madison Sennett: I am so impressed with my experience at Dr. Cathy Burbridge’s office! The staff was kind and conversational, the check in process was easy, the wait was less than expected, and Dr. Burbridge was amazing. She was thorough in taking my history and getting to know me, and I felt like she really cared about me as a person and not just another patient coming through the office. I had to get an x-ray, which was a surprisingly smooth process after my appt was over. I’m proud to call her my PCP and would recommend this office (just her and her husband in the office) to anyone!

1 /5 Angelica Garza: Update- ive called the number listed in the response and left a message with no return call. This is now going on 8mos, ive since found a new pcp that listened to me and ordered more tests. I have been diagnosed with multiple myeloma (blood cancer). I cant stress enough the importance to advocate for yourself and find a pcp that will listen to their patients and not just follow insurance guidelines. The care (or lack there of) i received from Dr Burbidge was beyond unprofessional and not to mention unethical. I couldve started my treatment months ago and may have had a better prognosis. My hope is that she starts treating her patients with the care they deserve and stops allowing the insurance companies to dictate her treatment/diagnosis. Dr Burbidge seemed to be far more interested in what my insurance would cover over listening to my health concerns. I was very disappointed this visit, felt dismissed and that my health concerns did not matter because if she asked me certain questions and click certain buttons then it would trigger a copay, which i paid upfront. She was telling me this as she is walking to the door because it was a quick in to tell me we would being doing bloodwork this visit, when i mentioned I paid a copay she then stopped and sat her laptop down and we went into a somewhat heated discussion about why i was there (for a check up) and that i had not been feeling well for numerous reasons. She again brought up insurance as im asking her for her recommendation/expert opinion. Again, just disappointed due to the lack of care and the interest being on what my insurance would cover so that determines diagnosis or even proper evaluation. The front office was super helpful and the nurses have been great but I will be looking for another primary Dr due to this experience. With all the emphasis on insurance my RX is being held up due to the office not providing documentation to the insurance to process my prescription. So all that insurance talk and concern just to not follow through anyway? I really hope my case/situation is a one off and that other patients are not getting the same level of care (or lack there of) that i did. As healthCARE providers we need to do better.
