I booked a silk press for my natural 4c hair with a recommended steam treatment and trim. She kept me informed through the entire process and was so thoughtful and polite. I’m coming back every time and anytime I need my hair done. She offers great specials and can do any style.

5 /5 Taylor: I’ve been coming here since I moved to Houston and I won’t go anywhere else! Brittany does my silk presses and all of my haircuts. She does an amazing job and my hair lasts for weeks without reverting to curly in the Houston humidity. The rest of the staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the salon is in a great location right next to the galleria. Pricing is very reasonable for the quality of work here.

5 /5 Laura Johnson: I have been coming to Canvas for about 11 years now. I only come to these ladies for my sew-ins, I refuse to go to any other shop to have my sew-in installed. The hair they provide at the shop is top quality weave, as it lasts through multiple installs and has the relaxed, textured look I prefer. I recently went last week and had boho box braids installed by Ebony, who Ive never gone to before. Shes polite, sweet, professional and Ive gotten multiple compliments on my braids the last week or so, and have sent several people to their website to book. Chara and her team are professional and do quality work on my hair, as well as my daughter whos started getting braids as well. As long as Canvas is around, I will continue to support their business.
