5 /5 JoAnn Overstreet: After calling several automotive shops around the area I decided to take my mom’s car it to Byrd Automotive. The AC had stopped working and the thermostat was not registering. James knew exactly what was wrong. He was fast, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He had my mom’s car back to me in just a few hours. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a good and honest auto mechanic. It’s nice to find good and honest people you can trust. I plan on using Byrd Automotive for all my auto needs in the future.

He gave us a written estimate before any work was done to our car, that way there were no hidden costs. We gave our approval to work on our car and him and his staff kept us informed on any progress. 5 /5 Heloo: I recently brought in my 2005 Toyota Tundra due to a loud clicking noise coming from underneath the vehicle when driving or turning at low speeds. After researching the issue, I came across a video where someone experienced a similar problem, which was attributed to a broken transmission mount. Based on that, I informed James at the shop that the transmission mount might be the cause. Within an hour, James called back with his findings. He confirmed that the transmission mount was intact, but he identified a different issue: eight bolts were missing from the frame underneath the vehicle. He promptly replaced all the missing bolts and only charged me a diagnostic fee. I truly appreciate Jamess honesty—he could have said the transmission mount needed to be replaced, and I wouldn’t have known. Instead, he resolved the problem efficiently and at minimal cost. The clicking noise is completely gone, and the truck runs perfectly now. I highly recommend this shop for their integrity and excellent service!
