Jeremie Sagely I’ve been taking my vehicles to Aaron at ATS since November 2021, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. My first experience with Aaron was when he replaced the engine in my STI, and since then, he’s been the only mechanic I trust to maintain and repair my vehicles. Over the years, he has continued to service my STI, as well as my 2012 Ford F-150 EcoBoost and my 2017 VW Golf GTI. Most recently, Aaron quickly diagnosed and repaired a fueling issue with my GTI when I was unable to put gas in the tank. His expertise, efficiency, and commitment to quality work have been consistent throughout all the years I’ve been bringing my vehicles to him. In addition, if youre looking for window tinting, Aaron’s assistant mechanic, Obed, does excellent work—he tinted the windows on both my F-150 and GTI, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Brought my 2015 WRX STI here when I moved here, it needed a new engine which I already knew before bringing it. Aaron along with his wife Cassie found me a better deal, then the one I was previously expecting to pay. He went over everything in detail and recommended somethings I hadnt thought of, he expressed that its best to do these additional things now that the engine would already be out of the car and he wouldnt have to charge me additional labor fees. This was a major job and he was the only one around the area who would even attempt to work on a Subaru STI engine. I was fortunate to have found his shop and cant express the gratitude that I have for the hard work ATS has done for me. I highly recommend this place!

So being a return customer many times now along with multiple family members who also have repeated come to ATS I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you make ATS your go to for any of your automotive needs. We were told the starter needed replaced by Midas in San Antonio. My daughter is younger and uses it, so she took it in. I told her I wanted to bring it to the Fix It Shop, because of the amazing service they gave my mom. It ended up being just loose battery wires. They saved me hundreds of dollars by being honest and good hearted people.

Lance is a one man show: He is skillful, an expert, and as pleasant and fair/honest as they come (probably because he conducts his business with the fear of The Lord)! Danté Diza Took a recently purchased cash car (2015 Ford Fiesta) from a dealership in Austin. Noticed a clacking, rattle noise whenever the AC is turned on or adjusted. Martin & Jose were very professional & clearly knew what needed to be done to resolve this. Their shop is well maintained and I felt secure leaving our vehicle there. Demetria DeSimone These guys were so incredible Martin was the main person I worked with he was a blessing to me I had problems with my AC in my 2005 Dodge ram I wont quote numbers but I can tell you that I got an honest opinion and honest whats wrong with my truck evaluation and a more than honest price more of a blessing I have AC thats cold and I couldnt be happier with this Texas heat that we had last week and going into this week I am so so in love with these guys if youre looking for an honest mechanic at a excellent price whos going to tell you exactly whats wrong and not give you a runaround and even point out and show it to you and everything you couldnt ask for a better mechanic than these guys! Update I took my truck back to them on June 17th to look at the AC blower motor because it only worked on high and my grandson had replaced the motor so I thought maybe he had done something wrong but it was going to cost me $850 just for the labor to take care of that but I had two cigarette lighter port that werent working so they replaced those for me and they told me there was going to be $135 fee just for doing the investigation work they only charged me $100 to replace both of the electrical cigarette lighters for me and I dont know what they did to the AC but its blowing so much more air out than it was before these guys were amazing if you guys have never used them Make it a must stop to go and see them and have them do your mechanical work for you they go above and beyond what you ask.

James knew exactly what was wrong. He was fast, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He had my mom’s car back to me in just a few hours. Christie Dotolo UPDATE: My son has a Smart Start breathalyzer on his car, and last week he had to get it fixed. Turns out, it was breathed into twice by someone at this repair place (Smart Start has a camera that records every breath attempt). This means that whoever was working on his car was under the influence of alcohol! Could explain why they did such a shoddy job. I am posting this review for my son, Jozsef Smith, who does not have a google account. These are his words: DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS SHOP. It will be the most expensive mistake youve ever made with a car. I originally went to this place to have my struts and shocks replaced, I had already bought the parts. I chose this place because I needed it done the same day. I called them on a Friday and they told me if I got it to their shop before they open on Saturday they would have it done by the end of the day. They quoted me 299 plus tax for the struts and shocks and naturally I need an alignment after thats done, for that I was quoted 69 plus tax. So I drive there at 4am in the morning on Saturday and put my key in their lockbox before I went to work and got an Uber to work. Whenever they opened, I called them and they told me the alignment would now be 99 plus tax and I wouldnt be able to pick my car up until Monday before they close. I had plenty of obligations that were ruined because of this and I was agitated, I had somewhat of a heated argument with the owner Martin and he basically told me to deal with or come get my key. But I couldnt actually come get my key because his technician with the key didnt show up to work that day! So he knew he had me in the palm of his hand. So I accepted and tried not to upset him further knowing that he could royally mess my car up if he felt like it and thats just what he did. He called me on Monday telling me I need another 1100 dollars worth of repairs- control arms, sway bar links, and tie rods. I reluctantly agreed, and Im sure those parts actually might have needed to be replaced at some point anyways. After I agreed to this he called AGAIN telling me my subframe was loose and there were bolts missing and bolts stripped. I looked into this and the only way that would happen is if the control arms were replaced. And no one else has ever been underneath that car. He also said my motor mounts were broken, which Im 90 percent sure that wasnt the case before I dropped the car off because now my car is making new sounds that it hadnt made before. If all that isnt enough Im more then certain they did not perform an alignment because my wheel is pulling more to the right then it ever has before. When I got back in the vehicle the panel around my steering wheel was still hanging down and my smart start device was hanging down next to my brakes. Moral of the story is this place is not cheaper- they only pretend to be until they have your vehicle, theyre shady and spiteful, and theyre everything negative you hear about mechanics creating extra work for themselves to squeeze every dollar out your pocket. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and the AGs office

Jed Rogers I got a really happy granddaughter thanks to Jason! This old disabled vet grandpa is really happy too. Her 2012 Jeep Patriot was in need of some mechanical work. Jason quoted us a very reasonable estimate (I estimated the work required at $300 higher that Jasons). He kept us updated on the progress and had it out the door and ready to roll in a timely manner. The A/C works great as well as the other systems that he repaired. Jason has a great sense of humor too. We all need to humor in these trying times. Thanks for a job well done!

Quinton Bridges I hope this man is out of business by now. Overcharged me for an installation because my 2008 jeep wrangler had an "automatic start setup"... its a manual transmission. How could it have automatic start setup? And then charged me triple the price to "maintain" it.. to top it, the work was terribly done.. DONT GO HERE!

Bryan Endsley Brent was amazing and his tech was a prodigy for his age with his knowledge and helpfulness. I was visiting from out of town and unfortunately had a passenger side axle snap while visiting the hill country. After speaking with Brent, he was able to get me in and out the next day and back on the road to home! I highly recommend Sparkys . Honest, competitive pricing and no bull service .
