05-2025 Beauty Avenue Salon in The Best 19 Hair Salon in El Paso, El Paso Country D-Elsas Beauty Salon - El Paso Jose orozco: Yesterday, Thursday October 24, 2024 I went to cut my hair at this place, had never had any issues and I approach the business and the door was closed, the son of the owner told me it was already closed, that they closed 15 minutes before 6PM. I told him it was 10 minutes till closing time. Than I told him to change his sign to 5:45 closing time. Told me to go and complain anywhere, but that he was closed, again I told him about the sign, and he said he was going to change it to 4PM, and I told him que payasito. Again told me it was closed, very bad customer service, I just hope people can read this and report it, like I am.
Hair Color Correction & Cuts - El Paso Beatriz Jimenez-Quiroga: I cant say enough wonderful things about Andrea! She is not only incredibly skilled and professional in her craft, but she also brings such warmth and kindness to every appointment. I love how she takes the time to really get to know her clients, making each experience feel personal and special. Andrea truly listens and delivers amazing results every time. Cindys Hair Saloon - El Paso Michael Guerry: My wife and I had a great experience at Cindy Hair Saloon, which has such a lively atmosphere and a cool western theme. Cindy, the stylist, was incredibly patient and understanding with my wife, who is disabled after having strokes. She went above and beyond, not only providing a great haircut and style but also ensuring my wife felt comfortable, happy, and beautiful. Cindys kindness and professionalism really stood out, and we both left feeling uplifted. Highly recommend Cindy Hair Saloon for anyone looking for a great stylist who genuinely cares about her clients.
Ambiance Hair Design - el paso - El Paso Isa Ose: Xavier is the only person who can successfully do my hair. We have gone to many others but they either butcher it or flat out refuse because I have too much hair. Not for Xavier, he accepted the challenge and he did it like it was nothing. The hair came out exactly how we wanted it. It is gorgeous, he never disappoints. We will follow him to the ends of the earth. Highly recommend him and hes very trustworthy. Not to mention precise. This man can do it all. Love him!!

Selah Salon & Spa - El Paso C X: Went in on Monday with very high expectations as I thought this salon won Best in City- Iâm not sure if it was just a big miscommunication but I asked a stylist who specializes in blondes to update my overgrown balayage and give me some bangs that I could push to either side or split down the middle. She unfortunately did not ask my preference for length and I now have very tiny, thin, uneven bangs straight across my forehead. I made it 20 feet to my car when I looked in the mirror and noticed how bad my hair actually was. Iâve been upset all week and when I reached out to Ăngeles the only thing she offered was to recut my bangs and stated âthey donât give refundsâ. I understand the impact Covid has had financially on everyone but I also received color AND paid $172 and am stuck with a very bad haircut. At this point a partial refund wouldnât do anything to fix the situation and recutting them is not going to make me look any more presentable. The photos attached are from right after receiving service and then going home to try and style it on my own.
EDIT: Thank you for responding to me review. Unfortunately a âtipâ or âtrickâ isnât going to fix the situation. I didnât want to be rude to Ăngeles thatâs why I immediately left and messaged her privately but so please donât mistake that for being happy with what she did to my hair. At this point the color has even completely faded out and my bangs are still choppy and unmanageable. It was a bad job, plain and simple.
Star Salon Suite by Dani - Horizon City Amanda Lynn: I started by asking around to friends about someone they would recommend for highlights/making my hair lighter, I had done this 7 months prior and loved it. Emily was recommended by a friend of a friend. I quickly sent a text, she responded quickly. I started by showing her what my hair looks like now and then sent a picture of what I would like. I am a blonde hair blue eyed girl who was looking to be iced platinum. I explained that my hair takes very quickly. Emily stated that she does a technique called âbabylightsâ. I proceeded to question this for my desires, the picture I sent her was all one color, no dimension (see attached), and she stated that it was possible with her technique. We made an appointment for 1300 (1PM) Wednesday. At 1200 I received a text from Emily stating that she needed to push me back one hour due to a client being late. I got to the salon at 1350 (1:30pm) I waited in my vehicle until 1440 (2:40pm), when Emily came out to get me. Emily then started to do the âbabylightsâ. About 1.5 hours in she was still on the back of my head and had not started the sides, this made me very nervous, she was using bleach and that bleach had been on my head for going on 2 hours. In the middle of doing my hair Emily asked a colleague to help her fix her clippers, no she was not using, nor going to be using these on my head, this just further delayed competition. After finishing the back of my head she proceeded to take out a few of the bottom foils, she then sprayed that hair down with water. I asked her what she was doing and she said she was rinsing them so that they would stop developing. I had never experienced this before. She then went on to place the foils on the sides of my head, this was not complete until 4.5 hours of sitting in the chair. Once she finished the sides she felt she should take out all of the foils in the back and rinse it completely, we proceeded to the sink. Emily took out the foils, only in the back, and rinsed the hair. We then went back to the chair and she proceeded to add more foils to what I thought were the done sides. I asked her what made her add more and she stated "your hair did not blend well." I then asked if that meant she was going to redo the back, she stated no, so I waited to see what she was going to do. Once Emily finished covering all of my hair on the sides with foiled and bleach I asked what she was going to do with the back, she stated nothing. I responded with, isnât that going to make it uneven, and she stated no. But wait, didnât she just say the back didnât blend, isnt that why she changed her process 4.5 hours in. Now she added more to the front and none to the back, how does this make sense? I then started to feel stressed, anxious, and uncomfortable, not knowing what was going on, but knowing things were not going as planned and she completely kept me out of the loop. 20 minutes went by, so 5 hours at this point, she takes me over to the sink and takes out all of my foils, she then rinses and starts to brush my wet damaged hair. I stated to her that I felt that was breaking my hair more and she said "no itâs wet its expected to have knots." She continued to brush, she then proceeded to put bleach in random spots on my scalp and in my hair. Again, another 20 minutes goes by and she rinses. She then proceeds to add what she called âpre tonerâ to my hair. From what I could tell she was dying my hair with a 9V, considering I watched her mix it. She said this was not the case. She then asked me what was wrong, because I became quiet. I explained that I was nervous because she change her course after she had completed putting in the foils and only covered the sides with bleach, she left the bleach on for over four hours, she was painting my scalp with bleach, she brushed my wet breaking hair, and now had applied another chemical. Her response was..
Update: the owner of the salon called and attempted to fix everything. The girl agreed to give back $100. The salon is a rent a spot so Im sure there are great people there.
Tinas Family Hair Center - El Paso Dennis Gowen: Man this place did my mom really dirty. She had an idea on how she wanted her hair cut and styled. No where near what the picture looked like. Cut way to short making it almost impossible to style. My mom refrained from crying at their establishment. Shes not one to complain. When she came home she wanted to cry. Of course I told her it looks OK. She has friends coming in from out of town soon and she is now embarrassed to see them.
Urban Opulence Hair - El Paso Lars Rana: URBAN OPULENCE delivers great service and results!
Knowledgeable professionals here give value driven service in an âURBANâ environment sans pretentious frills.
I donât often give five stars, but this place is in its own category. I love the 90âs hip hop music that evokes great memories as I waited for my hair to set. The art-centric atmosphere reflects the style and attitude of the amazing artists who work here.
