1 /5 Jessica W.: BEWARE ā Partial Repairs, Empty Promises, and Disappeared Without a Word!
I took my Chevy Traverse to "Dent Masters" in Lawrenceville, GA back in November 2024, when I was 8 months pregnant. I chose Cody because he claimed he could help me save on my $500 deductibleāsomething that wouldāve really helped with a baby on the way and the holidays approaching.
He had my vehicle for several days. When I picked it up, I was told a bottom chrome piece that still needed to be replaced was on backorder and would take 5ā6 months. He promised to install it once it arrived. Fine.
My headlight had also been damaged in the accident, and water had gotten inside, causing the LED strip to go out. Cody initially tried to claim my insurance wouldnāt cover it. That turned out to be falseāmy insurance DID approve a replacement and even told Cody exactly where to get it. Instead of following through, he made excuses, blaming the damage on a ācommon LED failure,ā even though the light was clearly cracked and water-damaged and to this day my other headlight is perfectly fine.
I was eventually told Iād lose my deductible savings if I wanted the headlight fixed. Frustrating, but fineāI just wanted it done right. The last we heard from Cody, he was āwaiting on the chrome partā and āsearching for a headlight.ā Then⦠silence.
Fast forward to today, July 4thāI randomly stumble across his information and find out heās moved to Texas! No updates, no communication, and no completed repairs. My insurance paid him thousands, and Iām still driving around in a damaged vehicle.
Do NOT trust this man with your car. He did partial work, made promises he didnāt keep, and then skipped town. Go to a reputable collision shopānot someone running a business out of a rental home. RUN, donāt walk.
