1 /5 Jackie Henson: Went to get Hot hair fusions done by Chantelle and the job she performed was very unprofessional and not done correctly as she stated to me I was the first African-American with natural hair she did hair fusions on. Hair fusions came out horrible and now I have to get them removed from another hairstylist. I did ask for a refund which was $675 to be given back which she refused after her bad service performed on my hair. I would not recommend anyone to go there to get hair Fusions as your money will be taken and you will not be happy with the results. Also make sure you ask for hair Invoice and receipt as apparently she doesn’t give them out either. I was also charge for hair that I did not use as she ordered too much and I ended up paying for that as well. There are other salons out there that will treat you a lot better than ruining your hair and taking your money but I will never go back there again.

I’m natural as well as my daughter and she does both of our hair. My daughter gets treatments in between getting her hair braided. Chantel’s treatments have helped her hair grow and flourish.

Kitta lucas: Went to Denise for a Dye and a twist out, only for my hair to turn out dry and brittle. The first thing that went wrong was my hair was red instead of copper, so I gave her the opportunity to change it and add more color, only for parts of my hair to be bright Orange (luckily it was hidden in the middle). My roots weren’t left brown like I asked about 3 inches of my hair was and there was still dye in my hair that got on my pillows and washed out in a sink by another hairstylist. When asked about a refund or for another treatment I was told to come in Sunday then blocked. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND for dyeing.

Kari Urdi: Eastgate Barber & Beauty Shop is a fantastic place to get a haircut! My husband and three sons have been there twice now, and weve been consistently impressed. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they do a wonderful job with the haircuts. What really stands out to me is their patience and understanding, especially with my youngest son who is on the autism spectrum. One of the stylists was absolutely amazing with him. She was so gentle and understanding, and even used a hose attachment on her clippers to minimize the noise, which was a huge help. She made the whole experience so much less stressful for him, and for me! Beyond their excellent service, theyre also very efficient. Were in and out quickly, which is a huge plus for a busy family. And theyre happy to make adjustments – my husband got his hair cut today and they were happy to take off a bit more when he asked. Weve found our go-to barbershop and will definitely be back to Eastgate!
