4thMG Let me just say this place is an answered prayer, and MOE is like a guardian Angel. He truly loves cars and helping people, and it reflects in every way at Texas Kar Auto. He and Herman have been so kind and generous and accommodating it’s been such a blessing. Everyone does such a good job, the waiting room is clean and comfortable, there is good communication, and the cost and pricing for the work is unbeatable. Plus, they know both luxury cars including Mercedes and Jaguar, and non luxury. I recommend this place like I recommended heaven. Thank you so much.

G Sherman I was 2 months behind on my car state inspection. They greeted me and promptly took my car in. It was 10 minutes and $18. Fantastic personnel!

Hua li I got my car scratched here and no one notified me. This is very unpleasant. The service needs to be improved.

Ken Smith Took my car to a chain for an engine light inspection. $200 for the inspection, and they said something like "idk what the problem is; something to do with the O2 sensors. We can replace them for $500". Took the car here, and they said "likely needs fuel injector cleaner", and didnt charge me anything. $15 fuel injector cleaner solved the problem.

Alterra Woodard Gus is the absolute best! If he quotes you a price, that is what he charges - no unexpected added fees! He does top quality work with a limited guarantee. I know of no other independent mechanic that does this. He has done many repairs on our old truck and now my truck, which I took to him for wheel bearings on both rear wheels. His quote was half what it would have been at the dealership. I will take my vehicles to him as long as I am in Dallas county! His staff is also well trained and experienced.

S Morton Jason has been great for me and the issues with my 2008 Ford F250. He fixed my death wobble and most recently, got my fuel pump and battery issues resolved before a big move. He’s honest and gets the work done, correctly! I hope I can find the same level of mechanic in my new city! 02/13/23 - I called Jason from the PNW to get his opinion on an issue I’m having. Hasan Mahdi Prime Automotive is definitely the shop to take your vehicle to for service or any kind of work that you need to get done. Personally I have taken to him my European cars and American they did nothing but an absolute great job on them. Will recommend them to friends and family for sure!

Kristen T Prime Automotive Repair – Misleading and Untrustworthy My experience with Prime Automotive Repair was disappointing and frustrating. I brought my vehicle in based on an arrangement with Tom (from the seller’s side), who assured me the car had been fully inspected and any issues would be addressed. Prime later claimed the aftermarket radio was the cause of an oil pressure sensor problem — a diagnosis that turned out to be completely false. A certified VW dealership confirmed the issue was unrelated to the radio and far more serious than what Prime acknowledged. Despite warning lights and clear drivability concerns, Prime stated there were no issues with the vehicle. Real mechanical problems were either missed or ignored, and some of the services claimed to be completed were never verified or were misrepresented. While I want to note that Omar, the individual I worked with at Prime, is a great person and was respectful throughout, the overall handling of the vehicle’s condition and the misleading claims were unacceptable. Tom also failed to follow through on promises, standing by Prime’s evaluation despite the obvious problems. I cannot recommend Prime Automotive Repair for reliable diagnostics or trustworthy service.

Irene Su I have good experience with B&B Auto Repair. Ali and his teams fixed my car in timely manner. They are reliable mechanics. They are honest to their customers. They fixed my cars tires, wheel, suspension, steering, and etc. I really recommend this place to everyone.

Josh Most shops will perform a diagnosis, tell you what needs done, then leave the decision entirely in your hands. I don’t frequent B&B because it’s like most shops. I will admit when cars pile in, timelines can get extended. But that’s a small price to pay for reliable work, solid communication, and genuine care.

Russell Brown Over the last 10 years, Dallas Auto Sports have helped me maintain my 95 BMW. They do a great job at a reasonable fee, and they are always helpful. In some cases when I needed work beyond what they do, they referred me to very good service providers in the area. I heartily endorse and recommend Dallas Auto Sports. Addendum: Five more years, and Dallas Auto Sports is still helping me maintain this very fun-to-drive car. They provide excellent service at a reasonable cost, and are a pleasure to work with.

Linda Le David help me solve my car issues and took the time to explain the problem / process thoroughly. He even noticed that my tires were getting flat and took the initiative to pump air for me to have a safe drive on the road. I appreciate his patience and efforts. I agree with the majority of these great reviews. Honest guys and good deal. With reasonably affordable prices, where you’re not paying an arm and leg.

Willie Collins Had Ac work done. Had to return for same problem 3 times within a very short time period. Work was under warranty. But they wanted to charge me labor charges every time. They said it was the parts that was bad that they getting. Seems to me highly unlikely that same part would be bad

Lakayla Allen I took my car to Mr. Alex for a small oil leak. He found the problem right away and fixed it less than an hour. Real cool guy, knowledgeable businessman. Reasonable prices as well. I recommend his business.

Frankie Hopkins If you live close to Garland, you know Garland safety lane is the place to go for front end alignment, they do great work for fair price, I took my 1960 Chevy Impala here when I was in high school. Thats how long they have been in business. They are honest too, one time they told me I didnt need any work done. You dont find that much anymore. Try them, you wont be sorry !!!

Jared Guynes A HIDDEN GEM - Safety Lane in Garland is a blast from the past all the way down to the old fashioned customer service, and non nonsense pricing. This is an amazing choice for anyone needing brakes, suspension or alignment work done on their car or truck. Notable Safety Lane is lowered car friendly, has flush drive over pits, and even the now vintage equipment to properly align classic cars by hand. If you have a muscle car or some sort of antique that needs steering or suspension alignment this is the place to go. 

I found it very remarkable that Matt is the proud 4th owner of the company, which opened in 1952, more than 70 years ago. He purchased it from the widow of the 3rd family owner, after having been an employee there himself for more than a decade. He didn’t change anything, and if you call you will probably hear him answer the phone “SAFETY LANE” and hear you out. 

Nothing high tech, nothing fancy, and no official appointments. They take you first come first served, and the line begins forming 30 minutes before they open at 7am. On our visit we waited for quite a while in line, but in the end it was worth it. I have never seen someone put so much time and effort into an alignment, Matt took the car out onto the road 3 times to test drive it himself. How is that for customer service?

Someday in the future places like Safety Lane may not even exist, but for now you can step back into a simpler time and experience honest customer service like your grandpa used to get! Highly recommended!

Eddie and his crew will not only take care of your car but they will also look out for your best interest. Other mechanics will keep you in the dark and keep the cash flow coming. This team will tell you the honest solution, even if it means other solutions outside of them. They’re loyal, trustworthy and most importantly, they have integrity. I recommend this place any chance I get because they deserve the business and I have no doubt the people I send will be taken care of.

Jessica Frame My Ford Focus was trying to overheat early this morning and their porter helped me before they even were open. Rich, the owner, called me right away. They diagnosed it, fixed it, and had it back to me the same day! They are extremely thorough for the price they charged. Very friendly staff. You can tell they have great morale there.

Edward Trevizo Friend of mine went here for an oil change and an inspection (cost a little over $200). Apparently they didnt tighten the drain bolt so the car was steadily leaking oil when she got home in her garage. She returned to the shop the next day and the shop said they wanted her to pay them $75 just to find out what the source of the leak (like a diagnostic fee), and then plus the cost of labor to fix the leak. She is not one to argue with people and instead she ended up going to some other shop near by and they showed her how loose the drain bolt actually was. That shop tightened the bolt and they even topped off the oil for her at no cost simply because they felt sorry for her experience with the Broadway Auto Repair shop. Only posting her experience on her behalf, but Broadway Auto Repair should be ashamed of this kind of behavior. I will actively advise people in the area to avoid this shop.

Prayaholic Epting Absolutely horrible!!!! My husbands vehicle is still not repaired right after this shop being paid. Im so angry, but Gods going to repay. You cant mess over Gods people and think HE wont intervene.
