Lewis Jackson Called to get a round about price to swap the engine out in my 2003 toyota camry (current motor is still running and driving daily just starting to give small problems here and there that im tired of dealing with) with the engine Im about to order. The guy told me hes not in the business of installing customer supplied parts. Im a single father of 3 and my kids live with me I cant afford to use a motor hed supply and upcharge me on Im expecting the labor alone to be a couple grand already. Wasnt aware mechanics werent in the business of repairing vehicles unless they can double the price of parts. Lady that answered the phone was polite and professional though so thank you to her.

Christopher Bosco Couldnt be happier with these folks! I was out of town and broke down in Tyler. I managed to get my ford e350 van to them based on their excellent reviews, and I quickly understood why they are so highly rated. What was wrong with my truck was pretty serious, but Gerry knew what needed to be done and assured me they could do it. They were pretty backed up but they said they could get it done in two days. As it turned out they had a cancelation and were able to get my truck done the next day and get me back on my way. Having owned a repair shop myself for 25 years, I knew what they had to do, and I appreciate their professionalism and fair treatment of me in my compromised position. Some would have taken advantage of someone stranded 1600 miles from home, but they did not. They did the work professionally, quickly, and charged only what it was worth. I can hardily endorse them and hope anyone in the Tyler area will make them their shop.

Aaron Grimes I’ve taken several cars to Roland. Recently after he had back surgery he hires techs that don’t know what they are doing and they will screw up your car. Had a car with a chipped valve. He sent the top of the engine off to be milled. When I got the car back it developed a misfire very soon after. Then he refused to fix it. Then I took it to another mechanic it was discovered that the timing chain was off timing and the power steering pump bolts broke off because they were not torqued correctly when the pump was reinstalled. I had to sell my vehicle off because of these issues caused by his inexperienced techs. I don’t trust Histech auto with my cars at all.

Bravo Noe (johnny bravo) Amazing service. Shop owner came out to my house to install a control arm. I was very satisfied with the quickness they were able to finish up my car and get my wife back on the road. Highly recommended

Evan Hanks Robert is great. I have had my truck almost 15 years and he is the first person to do work on it other than me, except for tires. I have a hard time trusting people other than myself with such a large investment. Robert got me in quickly with a full quote for a transmission rebuild and had it done when he said it would be done. I live in shreveport and will absolutely trailer vehicles to Reynolds for work which I cant do myself. This was a completely unpromped review and is only the 5th business I have ever reviewed.

Phil Patterson I highly recommend Raul and his staff. Called me promptly to explain what needed to be done and gave me an estimate. Did great work at a very fair price. I will definitely use him for all my mechanical needs.

Caleb John I’ve used Raul for my truck numerous times. Every time he is reasonable and does the job right the first time. He’s an honest dude and works hard.

Yesi Lopez We have had the worst experience with patterson service center.. specially with their manager Benny he was so rude and screamed at my husband because my husband told him we needed our truck back and that we were tired of waiting.. we have been back and forth with this place since summer of 2024 and they still cant fix our truck after an accident my husband suffered at no fault to him and the insurance said we had to return rental because supposedly shop already finished our truck and they already paid them and the service shop has not even been working on our truck its still sitting in the lot. We had never had such a horrible experience with a shop or any place in general.

Crystal Brunett Worst place Ive ever been. You can bet i will drive to Dallas for all the services on my jeep. So utterly disgusted with how customers are treated. I spent $560 on parts to fix a friends car. they told me i had to prepay for the parts, so i did. Then they told me nevermind the original estimate of $1500 is now $7000. When we asked if they could just fix the part we asked, they said no and to come get the car. So, for no work. No labor. And pre paid part. They could only give me $120 back on the parts i pre paid for, and the justification was that the rest was for labor. Labor, that wasnt ever done. I guess i paid $440 for lifting the car up on a rack, doing nothing to it, and bringing it back down. Its utterly ridiculous. I wouldnt even suggest this place to my worst enemy. And i will be telling anyone that listens about my experience and to not waste their time or money here.

Shawn Hogle The team at EQ always takes great care of my vehicle and delivers excellent results. I had them do their special touchless tire mounting on my new Forged rims for the BMW. They are always flexible and accommodating, providing excellent customer service. Theres no better shop in town.

Marshal Wiggins Fidel is great. As soon as you pull in these guys are taking care of you wether your getting new tires, used tires, or just getting air in your tires F&J takes care of you. They also have GREAT prices. I’ve had several sets of truck and trailer tires from Fidel and had great luck with them! I recommend this place to anyone needing some tires

E. V. Mechanics.... through association with car dealership service departments are often thought of charging too much, looking for ways to pad the bill. Here you wont get this. They are honest and the time is taken to explain what is going on with your automobile. The fees they charge are very reasonable. Way cheaper than if you head off to a dealership or other large repair shops yet your auto will be just as repaired or perhaps even more so because you can afford to fix more things on your automobile. I continue to have my car serviced here and always feel that what needed to be repaired was repaired. Never once is a pretend issue created so as to pad the bill happens here. Yes I know enough about cars to know this. But even if you do not, you will be treated with respect.

Tony Carvajal Juan quickly diagnosed the problem on my Venza, told me the problem wasnt as bad as I had thought, fixed it and returned it to me that same day. Wow! I was thinking it would take at least until the next day to get my car back. And talk about honesty--there it is. Its been two months since the repair and no problems! Now I have a problem with my Chevy S-10 and taking it to him today. Ill let you know how that goes. SECOND REVIEW My 2000 Chevy S-10 needed a lot done to it but I authorized it all because it was running terribly and Juans fixes sounded reasonable. I got it back the next day and Ive driven it for over a hundred miles and it drives better than it did when I bought it in 2010! My goodness! Juan even got rid of the "check engine" light without us discussing it. And the price was very reasonable for all of the parts and labor put into the old truck. My daughter recommended him to me and now I recommend him to you.

Patrick R. I LOVE these guys. The owner Gary is also the mechanic, and he genuinely cares about getting your vehicle fixed. They are fast and fair with very reasonable prices (which they will explain in full if you ask). I used them off and on for my personal vehicles for years, and now I convinced my boss to use them for our company vehicles as well! Highly recommend. I basically wont take my car(s) anywhere else now!

Jeremy Mazingo I cant recommend these guys enough. Honest and full of integrity. I was originally quoted around $1300 for the repairs I needed. When they were done they called and told me it was only going to be a little over $1000. They could have pocketed that extra and I would have never known. You dont find people like that too often these days. If you go anywhere else for mechanic services I promise you are doing it wrong.

Padfoot 3 Had an outstanding first experience here! Got an oil change and tires rotated, plus they accurately diagnosed what was causing a warning light and fixed the problem. Price was very reasonable and all that work completed by lunch time. I will definitely use them from now on !

Dustin Foss When my car unexpectedly broke down halfway between Dallas and Shreveport late on a Saturday, I thought I was completely out of luck. Thankfully, I found Mims Mobile Mechanics and they proved to be absolute lifesavers! Their technician, Dalton, was remarkable from start to finish. Despite it being well after normal business hours on a weekend, he was able to get to my location quickly. Most places would have made me wait until Monday, but Dalton arrived with a smile. What impressed me most was how fast and efficient Dalton worked. He immediately diagnosed the issue and clearly explained what needed to be done. His knowledge was evident, and he fixed the problem in less time than I expected. Throughout the entire process, Dalton remained friendly and professional. He patiently answered all my questions and even gave me some maintenance tips to prevent similar issues in the future. Mims Mobile Mechanics has earned a customer for life! I cannot recommend them highly enough, especially Dalton, who went above and beyond to provide exceptional service when I needed it most. Nicole Morris Overall, pleased with his service and would utilize him again. He was very polite and respectful. I called on a Wednesday night, he came out Thursday morning. The parts needed had to be ordered and it was a holiday weekend (I can’t fault him for the timing!) My parts came in on the following Monday and my vehicle was fixed by that afternoon. My only dislike was that the bill wasn’t itemized. I was sent a PayPal link with a description that I wasn’t able to read. Based off of that information, I’m assuming the hourly rate for labor was around the $100 mark-which is pretty standard. The fact that I didn’t have to tow my car any where, was a huge plus. My vehicle is currently running as it did before it needed the repair. I call it a win!
