Brandi Stringer We were stranded on Hwy 10 about 5 miles outside of Sierra Blanca and Eddie (the owner) was contacted by our insurance company for roadside assistance. He arrived quickly, piled us all in his tow truck after evaluating our truck and the problem. A belt had come off on our truck that made the entire engine shut down—he called someone to go to Van Horn to pick up the belt and by the time we got to Sierra Blanca the belt had arrived, he repaired our truck and sent us on our way! Very affordable, very kind and a blessing to us as we had about 6 more hours to drive! Awesome experience and we are so grateful! If you are ever around Sierra Blanca stop in and do business with him! He is a genuine guy and very helpful! Blessings to his little town and his shop!

Jude Diamond-Brooks HORROR STORY ... DONT GET ANYTHING REPAIRED HERE. SERIOUSLY.
COST ME $3,000 INCLUDING THE TRUCK RENTAL TO GET HOME.
Our R.V., broke down going across country to Florida so we left it there for repairs and drove to FL in the SUV. A&A Repair in Sierra Blanca charged us $780 for the tow, fuel tank flush and fuel pump.
My Husband flew to TX from FL once repaired to pick it up. 25 miles down the road, he sees smoke pouring out the back, oil gushing out of the engine flowing down the side AND I realized that none of the gauges work now (gas, temp, oil pressure ... they must have disconnected them to put the electronic fuel pump on and didnt reconnect).
Made it to A&A Repair in Van Horn where they put an oil cap on, didnt even bother putting oil in it and said the gauges might not have worked when they got it. THEY ALL WORKED FINE .
He sat there for TWO DAYS, having to walk 2 miles from the hotel just to get food etc.
No work done on it and they had NO intention of working on it.
After 2 days rented a one-way Penske truck to get our belongings out of the R.V ... WHICH COST $1,300!!! My Brother (who is a bus mechanic!) drove from San Diego to TX with a friend to fix the R.V., and told me theyd left off hoses and vacuums too.
My Brother fixed it so it could be driven and told me that the 5 or 6 Mexicans who work there, just sat around, staring, talking and laughing at them while they fixed it.
Hes taking it back to San Diego, fixing it PROPERLY and well split the proceeds.
PLEASE BE WARNED, THEYRE CON-ARTISTS AND TOTALLY tUNSKILLED MECHANICS.
