MISS TANNDO This place is great for your car! I just got a state inspection, and Scott, the young guy who helped me, was the best. Hes super professional and friendly, and he explained everything to me. Im sending my friends there, because I loved the service I got, and I didnt have to wait, they work very quickly, cars were in and out, those guys love what theyre doing, and Ill always take my car back there.

Felicia Worthy This was a great experience! These guys are extremely knowledgeable and helpful and didn’t try to overhaul my entire vehicle! Zach and Scott didn’t mind explaining everything to me and got me in and out quickly. I will be back!!

A. Mark Hawkins Today, February 17, 2025, I dropped my pickup off for an appointment on Presidents Day. The problem was a PCV valve elbow plus their overly expensive diagnostic fee, a total of $189.66. Upon my cash out after the service advisor entered his total by computer data entry, the total jumped automatically on their card reader to $198. When I informed him, he just said under his breath ohh its just the 4%, like it was a normal charge or something! But then he saw I was going to insert my Meineke credit card and stated he would need to enter it through the internet by his keyboard instead. Because I caught him and this Meineke franchise conducting less than honorable business ethics today. Therefore, strangely enough, for their purposes of passing along their deceptive up-charges normally, to their customers that use Master Card or Visa cards through their card reader. The only thing I can say today in positive light is that Meineke in Baytown barely recognizes military service, so if you are a veteran, you will need to inform them at checkout to receive a very weak 9% discount, for your service to your country during war. Sadly unjust and non patriotic indeed! That is if you really wish to trust their deceptive UP charges by their service advisor/mgr. Wayne and his data entry procedures into their card reader! Since we, the people have all entered the new age of transparency now!! Stand up for yourself and accept no less from American corruption. Go elsewhere if possible, and theyll get the message eventually.

Jeanette Tamayo Dropped my car off when they opened had a quick phone call to discuss what would happen around 930 and could not get ahold of them for the rest of the day. Got a ride up there at 4 and they were already closed. Left me with no car and no information. Called my warranty insurance provider and found out that he never spoke with them about anything. So basically the dude just decided to keep my car here with no explanation.

Brooke Leo did an outstanding job explaining services and ensuring my vehicle was correctly taken care of and got me In and out quickly. Was very attentive and answered phones every time they rang, which most people don’t, I really admire the customer service aspect. Recommend a coolant flush which next visit we will be looking forward to get taken care of by Leo again because they took great care of us.

Michael Martinez I came in for suspension work on the front end and replace rear brakes bads and rotors. Spent 3200 dollars. Picked it up and my power steering didnt work and all of a sudden both my rear hubs are grinding and missing my center cap to rims. Then after talking to the mgr he agreed to fix the problems both rear hubs and power steering for $300, that was him taking a hit on the labor and parts. Just to call me the next day and say he cant do it he miss quoted me and said it was gonna be another $2300. After back and forth I didnt have the money to fix the power steering so he agreed to fix just fix the rear hubs. Today when I picked up its still making the noise from the rear and I never received my center cap that was lost. After looking up the reviews Im seeing this isnt the first time its happened

Bruce Smith This place is trash!! Dont waste your money coming here. I dropped my car off to have work done to it and they didnt call me when it was done.when we got there he didnt even apologize and was very rude.Also I had to clean oil off the side of my car.

John McCarty Went in for an oil change and to have the front passenger tire replaced. Service guy stated I need to replace all 4 sensors. Reluctantly I did and spent $300 just so he could tell me now NONE of my tire sensors work! What a Ripoff!

Amber Monk BEWARE!!! They missed a tear in my transmission line and told me to keep driving when I kept calling. Drove over 60 miles with no fluid. Runs and drips on the paint. Horrible both above and below the hood. They will lie right to your face. They are Service Master rebranded with the same low level of customer service.

P W They were great, did my inspection and alignment. Didnt take much time at all and answered all the questions I had.

jose cumpian Beware before you have worked done on your vehicle at this location. The receptionist was unprofessional and was not helpful. I was never told upfront of any cost relating to diagnostics or repairs and labor. The receptionist stated that she would notify the head mechanic and I waited until he was available; even the head mechanic did not mention the costs to at least diagnose the issue. They started work on my vehicle before asking me for approval or updating me of what the issue may be after I provided a brief description of what the car was doing. It ended up being a bad radiator and a defective thermostat. The total cost of repairs ended up being $893.61; parts- $399.64 Labor- $461.00and diagnostic check-$120.00. If I had been given a price range upfront, I could have searched for alternative mechanics to complete the repairs for less amount. I do feel like I was taken advantage.

Yvonne Scott Ive lived in Baytown for three years and its been tough trying to find a mechanic that doesnt charge both arms and legs. Each time I took my SUV or my truck to Romano it has been nothing but respect. He is very reasonable with the price and very ambitious to figure out any issue your vehicle has. He always tells you ahead of time if it may take a while because he has a lot of work which I really do appreciate. He is very informative. I highly recommend. Thank you Romano!!!!!

S A As a woman, it is VERY HARD for me to find HONEST mechanic but Romano Auto is the EXCEPTION TO THE RULE. Martin was COMPLETELY HONEST with me about the problems with my vehicle. Martin charged me a VERY FAIR & REASONABLE amount for the repairs on my vehicle. I really thought my car could NOT be fixed or it would cost way too much to fix it but Martin did the job & I am VERY happy. Auto Romano is fair, trustworthy & very skilled & knowledgeable mechanic.

Merritt Drewery We called and told them (Jose) the make and model of our vehicle and they said that they could complete the service and when we arrived, they said they could not. They did not listen to the information we gave them initially. This caused us to have to get another tow to a different place which cost us money.

Jenna Mueller I hit something on the highway, this beacon of light was my only saving grace! I broke my rim, and blew my tire. I have a Toyota, so they didnt have anything in stock to send me on my way. Mike in the service advisor office refused to let me put my spare tire on, so he offered to change it for me! 100% recommend this place for service due to kindness and speed of service! These guys are the best!

T N My bus conversion broke down i Near brothers tire. I had a air leak in my emergency breaking system Romeo the owner was very helpful and his business partner Jefferson. They let me park by there shop to use the air tool so I could work on my bus. I got it all figured out and Im back on the road. They also gave me a good deal on some tires . This is a honest business with good people. They made me feel like family for the time I was there. Small businesses are the best Its more personal. Blessings to this company and the family and everyone who goes here.

Tracy McLean My A/C quit blowing cold on my way home from work, pulled into Automotive Care Specialist with no appointment. Went into their office and was met by a very nice lady named Kim, she got a mechanic to check my a/c out with no wait at all. They were very honest told me what the problem was and how much it would cost in less than 30 minutes. They were ready to do the fix right then and even offered me a ride if I wanted to leave it. I told them I would bring it back the next morning and they said they would get right on it. I was so impressed with them I had them take care of some maintenance items that needed to be done also (power steering fluid flush/change, transmission fluid flush/change and filter, front and rear differential oil service) Very impressed at how fast they got everything done considering they had to pull my whole dash out to change evaporator coil for a/c. If you need any work done on your vehicle go here, you will be satisfied. Kim will take care of you, she stays in touch and lets you know how everything is going.

Sarrah Hannon I recently brought my truck to Automotive Care Specialists in Baytown. I did not have an appointment, but they were able to not only fit me in to check out the problem, but they were also able to fix it right there (bad timing belt and idlers). The mechanic was kind enough to take pictures on his phone of the problem and show me. He also took the time to take care of a few other minor problems with my truck free of charge. The receptionist was very polite and made sure I was comfortable while I waited. I am new to Texas so everyone was very friendly in giving suggestions about the area. The price was reasonable and the wait time was only the time it took for them to make the repair, my truck did not sit without being looked at or worked on for more than the 5 minutes it took me to check in. Would definitely recommend highly!!

Jennifer Balfour First time using this shop. Mike was awesome and was able to diagnose my car and help me locate the part when he realized it was special order. When I got the part Mike was able to get me right in and Vega fixed my car and I was good to go. I will definitely continue to bring my car there.

Matthew Definitely do not recommend dropped my truck off for a rear end they took 3 weeks called said it was done picked it and within a mile of leaving I had to come back because it was worse then when brought it! Finally after another 3 weeks they said it was ready first thing apon picking it up I noticed they had hit another car with my truck and pulled the bumper off on the driver side and tried to zip tie it back on I only noticed because my fender well came off and was dragging while I was driving, they said nothing about it brought it back again and they asked if I could just drop it back off so they can fix it definitely will not be dropping it back off. DO NOT USE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOU VEHICLE

John Gonzalez very very busy place the quality of the work speaks for itself however they only had one guy working on foreign cars not mad at that but could never get him otp for more than a minute i just didn’t have the time or the patience good people great work nothing bad to say cause i know it takes time he just didn’t make me feel like my car was a priority
