5 /5 Ruth Michelle: We stopped in for lunch at The Lakehouse and wow—what a fantastic experience! We started with the sampler appetizer (fried mushrooms, onion rings, and cheese sticks). Every bite was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Absolutely delicious! The portions were generous, so we took half to go because there was no way we were leaving a bite behind.
For the main course, I ordered the baked catfish with rice, coleslaw, and beans. The fish was baked perfectly—tender, flaky, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Such a perfect combination! My husband had the fried catfish and said it was outstanding—truly the treat of the Hill Country.
Our server was welcoming, attentive, and spot on with everything. Great service, delicious food, and a warm atmosphere—we can’t wait to come back!
