5 /5 Rickyp: If you’re in the Kerrville area, then you have to eat at the Branding Iron restaurant inside the Y O Ranch Hotel. Friend of mine asked me if I’ve eaten there. We haven’t, so we drove there from Comfort. Walked in and felt like we were in a Colorado resort. The atmosphere was so beautiful, huge Christmas tree, shoulder mounts of large game, and the woodwork is amazing. Buffet style menu. Missed breakfast, so we ate the buffet. Got the salad with my favorite fresh beets on top, chicken fried steak, mash potatoes, and black eyed peas. Food was delicious and the service was great. Our waiter Ezekiel, filled our glasses continually, without asking. I suggest that you try this place out. Give it 5 stars.
