Chris Priebe Nice little spot. Food was very good. Had the breakfast chicken fried steak and eggs. Was delicious. The garden / nursery was where we spent alot of money. Couldnt pass up all the nice plants they had. The chicken coup was pretty cool. Like a hamster enclosure, just alot bigger. Highly recommend

Krystal Merlo We stopped here for lunch. The atmosphere is nice. Our waitress was beyond nice and friendly. We got the special pho that they had on the black board as you walk in. I tried the grilled lemongrass chicken vermicelli. The chicken was really salty. Which I did not like. They give you wontons and sweet and sour sauce as soon as you sit down. That was cool. My husband said the soup was okay. Overall would maybe come back and try something else. We paid I think $36 for our lunch. Ohh we also got 2 spring rolls. They were good.

Theresa E Weve passed by Mamacitas Restaurant many times during our winter stays in the Kerrville area. We finally made a last minute decision to try it out for lunch, so with a swift turn into the parking lot, we exited our vehicle and made our way inside. It was a gorgeous restaurant showcasing 1500-year-old Persian/Spanish/Mexican architecture (as indicated on the lobby sign. Its a must read!) The restaurant was beautifully-decorated for Christmas, which was an added bonus to our dining experience. Our server was a delight...very personable, helpful, and attentive. We enjoyed a couple of lunch specials that were both plentiful and delicious— my husband ordered the Chimichanga and I had the Combinación de Res. And the chips with salsas were a nice touch before the entrées (the green avocado salsa was very unique and tasty.) Thank you to everyone at Mamacitas Restaurant for making our first visit a special one.

Victor Cisneros My girlfriend and I live in Dallas, TX. We hiked 13 miles at Lost Maples from 11:30am to 5pm. We were heading to Fredericksburg with starving stomachs. She wanted Mexican food, so I found 3 choices (Margherita City, Acapulco, and Arroyo). We picked this place at 7pm on a Sunday night. Best choice, ever! Our server was unique with a cool personality, and she mixed the best half and half tea Ive ever received! We are die hard judges of Fajitas, so we gave in to the good prices of the menu and went for it. Whoever made those Beef Fajitas is a king/queen cook. So tender, juicy, flavorful, and cooked all the way that it makes me wonder if it was real. The strawberry marg was really good too. I just ate some leftovers 2 days later and its making me mad that I live 5 hrs away. Great place!

Ruth Michelle We stopped in for lunch at The Lakehouse and wow—what a fantastic experience! We started with the sampler appetizer (fried mushrooms, onion rings, and cheese sticks). Every bite was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Absolutely delicious! The portions were generous, so we took half to go because there was no way we were leaving a bite behind. For the main course, I ordered the baked catfish with rice, coleslaw, and beans. The fish was baked perfectly—tender, flaky, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Such a perfect combination! My husband had the fried catfish and said it was outstanding—truly the treat of the Hill Country. Our server was welcoming, attentive, and spot on with everything. Great service, delicious food, and a warm atmosphere—we can’t wait to come back!

Class of 75 OMG the best brunch I’ve had in a very long time prime rib was amazing. The salmon was great . The salad were fresh The desserts were fantastic my husband’s went crazy off the chocolate cake, best ever bread pudding and to top it off mimosas!! Our waiter Anthony was way over the top amazing!

Cortney Fisher People were in shock when I told them I took the picture from our dinner table at Chilis. Beautiful view and good food. Our waiter was great and didnt mind us wanting to sit outside in the "chilly" (it was cold) weather.

Robin Lynn Excellent food at an affordable price. The service was fast, and the orders were accurate all the way down to the condiments. The portions were generous for a fast food place, and they had many options for the kids meals. We especially appreciated being able to order online. The parking spaces for online ordering could be set up better, with large trucks there isnt much room, but the food was worth it!

amy garcia Absolutely the best burgers. They are GIANT! Fries and onion rings are crispy and tasty. Our waitress was so sweet and kind enough to stand and talk with us for a bit. Its clean, I enjoy sitting on the dock. The view is the best as well.

Kali, Cass, and Eric consistently go above and beyond to make the experience thoughtful, warm, and enjoyable. It’s the little touches that make such a big difference, like the time they dried the outdoor tables and chairs after a rain shower and even brought out cushions so my dog and I could sit comfortably outside. That level of care is rare, and it truly makes you feel welcome. Chewbacca (my dog) is just as smitten with this place as I am! He devoured the Lassie Meal (chicken and rice) from their dog menu, and when they surprised him with a fresh-baked dessert made in-house for pups, his tail could not stop wagging. It’s safe to say he’s now a loyal customer too. For myself, every dish I’ve tried has been a hit. The shrimp Caesar wrap is one of my favorites—the combination of black beans, queso fresco, and that creamy chipotle sauce creates a burst of flavor that feels fresh, unique, and deeply satisfying (and as a California native, I know good wraps when I taste them!). On another visit, I ordered the creamy penne chicken with bacon on Kali’s recommendation, and I’m so glad I listened. The Alfredo sauce was hands-down the best I’ve ever had, rich, smooth, perfectly seasoned and the asparagus wasn’t just an afterthought, it was tender and plentiful, adding the perfect balance. The way she described the food and desserts was filled with so much passion and confidence that we could genuinely hear the leadership and love she puts into what she does. On her recommendation, I had the B.L.A.T. sandwich with turkey and mozzarella—absolutely delicious! My partner went with the shrimp Caesar wrap, which was equally amazing. And when Kali started describing the award-winning Puns Colada cake… there was no way I could resist. I’m so glad I didn’t, it was everything she promised and more! Ronny Manning We sat at the hibachi table and it was great. Our hibachi did a great job entertaining the family. We have a 9 and 11 year old with us and it was their first time. The food was great and service was great. We would totally go back.

Anna Kingman We showed up unannounced with 36 people. The manager jumped in to take care of us himself. He worked tirelessly crazy, keeping drinks and food coming. The food was great and enjoyed our time with friends celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

Matthew Neie This place has amazing food! I am definitely an avid Chinese foodie (I have had a lot of different Chinese food from different cities), and hands down one of the best places I have had Chinese food from! I am from out of town so had to swing by to try it. It did not disappoint! I had to try their Sesame Chicken and it was moist and the sauce was spot on! It was made with white meat and extremely good!! We also got the chicken with cashew nut and it was also extremely delicious! I enjoyed their food so much I got another to go the next day! The service was also very good! The servers and staff were extremely nice, attentive and friendly! Great atmosphere as well!! Highly recommend this restaurant and food! The flavors and lunch specials will not disappoint!!
