5 /5 Jessica Hellerew: Busy place--to avoid a wait (prime brunch time!), we sat at the bar. Joyce, the bartender, was fun. She not only gave recommendations from Store House, but for other sites/places around Bastrop too. Her knowledge of the menu was spectacular--both food and drink! We both had the Bastrop Big Brekkie--the smoked potato hash was fantastic, a blend of both regular & sweet potatoes and fresh herbs, gently smoked. He had an impressive old fashioned and I had OJ. The skewers on the Bloody Marys were homegrown pickled veggies. The details were amazing all thru this historical building. Store House is a true Farm-to-Table eatery, with most of their stuff coming from a farm about a mile from downtown. Their fresh jam of the weekend was an apple date blend--flavorful & smooth! We will definitely go back again!
The eclectic decor makes for some great conversation.
I almost forgot--they have a special me up for your pets, check out JoJos pet Menu!! (out on patio!) What a fun opportunity for your pup to dine and delight as well! Enjoy!
