4 /5 M Lee: I have been here twice and both take out. I had the Thai Kra-Pow with chicken. I don’t think the amount of chicken I got justifies the $16 price. My container is not that big and 2/3 was jasmine rice. The chicken is very flavorful, but I did not get much of it so I will not order this dish again.
The second time I ordered the Pad Thai Noodle and Basil fried rice both with chicken. I choose the spice level “HOT”. I can tolerate spicy food very well and their “Hot” are spicy for me. I don’t think I can take it if they are hotter than that. I really enjoy both dishes. They are very tasty. The prices for the potion are very reasonable.
They were not busy both times I have been there, my food came out quickly and they were piping hot. It was kind of confusing for the first time for me. No one greeted me when I walked in and there was a lady at the counter, but she was on the phone. She walked away from me. I finally figured out how to place my order at the Big Screen Kiosk at the front entrance.
Bastrop lacks authentic Asian food restaurants. Real Thai is very authentic and is a big plus for Bastrop.
