Mesquite at the Warehouse - Fredericksburg (TX)

The location is so fun and I love the warehouse vibe but I would say that they could use a few more signs and lights out front so people know exactly where to find this hidden gem! The Caesar salad was delicious as was the broccolini and service was fantastic. Definitely recommend if you want a great dinner in a place that isn’t too crowded but warm and friendly. We had sterling as our waiter and he was very attentive. Will be back!

5 /5 Stacy Robinson: I can’t rave enough about this place….it’s absolutely amazing! I brought my mom and her twin here for their birthday, and everything was perfect. The food was exquisite, the décor beautiful, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the customer service went above and beyond. Truly an unforgettable experience!

3 /5 Robert B: BBQ is way below expectations, but it was not bad. The sausage is unremarkable. Brisket was a little fatty, but the pork was great. Service was slow and we had to ask for BBQ sauce multiple times. There were at least 3 times I left the table to go fetch water, salt shaker, or something else because we were tired of waiting. The sad part is that this was around 6pm. They weren’t busy and it is mystifying why service was so terrible. Also, the Mac and cheese was milky, however the grits and cornbread were delicious. Totally hit or a complete miss. Wouldn’t recommend.

5 /5 Bird Ramirez: Delicious food, excellent service, amazing portions! The meats are so tasty and well prepared. They served THE BEST coleslaw we’ve ever had. Don’t miss out on the cornbread. The friendly servers enhanced our dining experience with informative aspects of Fredericksburg. Outstanding!

5 /5 Craig Boneau: My family came to Mesquite at the Warehouse for a birthday dinner and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was rustic and cozy while also being classy and nice, and the service was phenomenal. We had a number of different dishes, and all of them were top notch. A sleeper that you should absolutely order if you come is the cornbread, it is crispy on the outside and they must use some kind of magic to make it so light and fluffy on the inside, Ive never had a better bite of cornbread. Coctails were also fantastic. And being tucked into the back of a old mercantile shop gives a cool vibe to the whole experience. We will absolutely be back!
