3 /5 Jose Zamora: So lets start with the good.
The place is very nicely decorated, bringing back memories of ones childhood.
Our server, Diana, was extremely attentive. I noticed that all the wait staff were working as a team, checking in on each others tables. Our coffee cup was never empty.
I had the chicken fried steak & eggs plate.
That was the most tender cfs I haver ever eaten. My eggs were cooked to perfection as well.
Here comes the bad part.
When our server came to take our drink order, I asked for a coffee and a glass of water, to which she informed me that they dont serve water, that Id have to buy a bottled water if I wanted water. (Totally ridiculous).
Then came the pancakes... they were the worst pancakes Ive ever had. I had an extremely hard time cutting them. They were extremely thin & rubbery.
And lastly, the salt & pepper shakers had rust on the lids.
This place can do better, Ive never heard of a restaurant not offering water to their customers, and how in the world can you own a restaurant named "Country Cafe" and serve horrible pancakes.
