Lemens Lodge LLC What a welcome surprise, Pulling a trailer with overheating , scraping front disk breaks, Caleb and crew at Bencomo were friendly and willing to help, while we went to lunch, they inspected the Ford Expedition brakes, Found us parts ( 2 sets of front disk and rotor and calipers ) by 2:30, and them installed for us to be on the road again by 6 pm.. Thanks. Now we can feel safe for Thousands of miles

Ramona Finos These guys are my heroes! I was in the area for a trail race and was heading into Ft. Davis with my daughter for dinner. We had a flat on a Saturday evening around 6 pm. A friend helped us change the flat to the spare and followed us into town. I didnt have much hope that wed find a place open and the next day was Sunday. We pulled up to Bencomos Motorsport around 7 pm to find the garage door open and a young man working on a tractor out front. What a welcome sight! They were very gracious and helpful, even though they were actually closed for the day. The older man (Im sorry that I didnt get his name) checked our tire and showed us the damage inside from running on it flat. He said he could get it to hold air but it might not be safe for the long journey back to Austin. His son, Caleb, checked for a new tire. No luck. I said I would be happy to take a used tire that was road-worthy. They had one! They got it mounted, charged us a reasonable fee, checked the air in our other tires and were courteous and helpful throughout the entire service. Shortly afterward, the skies opened up with a torrential thunderstorm. We got lucky! Thanks, Bencomos! p.s. I asked the older man how long hed been working there and he said "56 years". His father had owned it and now his son owns it. I love that! April 2021 update: were still using that tire!

Joe Butts We were in our Mercedes Sprinter, diesel RV in the Ft Davis area with an issue of no power. These guys jumped on it without delay to help us out. Had to be either fuel flow or air flow. Blew out the air filter and replaced it. Called MB for help. They wanted to tow it to Midland for inspection. Called the last MB service rep I dealt with. He told us to turn the engine off, remove the key for a while, replace the key and restart the engine. It worked! Computer glitch related to the EGR valve. C&J wouldnt charge me anything for the time they spent. Offered to take them to lunch and they were too busy. Nice guys and very attentive. Wouldnt hesitate to use them if needed in the Ft Davis area. Thanks Clay and Jason. Much appreciate your time and attention.

Brady Williamson This review is long overdue. Back in March we found ourselves stranded in Fort Davis after a 7 hour drive with a wheel that had nearly come off our car. (Ya, you read that right. One lug nut was the only thing holding the wheel on and two of the wheel studs were snapped completely off.) These guys were the only ones open but were very busy, so we had to wait until the rush was over. They took us in even after their closing hours, totally fixed the wheel, and charged us next to nothing. We expected to be hit with a large bill since we were so desperate and weren’t sure the extent of the damage, but $50 was all they wanted. These guys literally saved us thousands and didn’t even have to help us. Thank you so much for your time, effort, and hospitality.

Gerrit Barrere Due to my poor planning I realized I needed an oil change the evening before we left Ft. Davis. G Automotive cheerfully got me in at 6:30 PM, gave me the synthetic oil I use and a new filter, and I was on my way. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and competent, and I can highly recommend them.

Laurana Perez They are only open from 5-7pm so bigger car maintenance jobs take a long time. But the work was done well & they fixed up an extra thing I didnt know was about to break. Friendly front desk lady.
