1 /5 Yuliia Oliinyk: I had a disappointing experience at this store. I tried to return a dress and a pair of shoes. I completely understand that the dress was a final sale and could not be returned—no complaints there. However, the store refused to accept the shoes because I didn’t have the box. The issue is, I was never given a box in the first place!
I had the receipt, and the shoes even had the security tag band still attached, proving they were unworn. The only reason there was a bit of carpet lint on the soles was that I had only tried them on at home. This should not be a valid reason to deny a return.
What made the experience worse was the cashier who had sold me the shoes. When I mentioned that I never received a box, they started telling another employee—right in front of me—that they “definitely would have given me a box.” It was clear they were trying to make me look like I was lying, which is incredibly unprofessional and not customer-friendly at all.
I’m really disappointed with how this was handled and won’t be shopping here again.
