2 /5 Blanca Molina: Ive shopped at this James Avery only. I’ve always loved the service of the staff but when I shopped this past weekend it was different. I guess it was one of the manager that assisted my husband and I. I excitedly asked about the free necklace/bracelet and charm purchase deal happening today Monday and she told me that she wasn’t aware of such deal. She even suggested that I might’ve been looking at a wrong James Avery site because they didn’t have that deal. How are you a manager/supervisor and the customer knows more about the deal than you? And how can you make the customer feel dumb for knowing something she herself as an employee clearly didn’t know? Besides that… I was so excited to get a ring or charm for my special ocasión weekend and as soon as a lady walked in she abandoned me and my husband to go help her out? That instantly made my excitement go away because I’ve always gotten an amazing experience from the staff and I figured she was the manager because she was bossing everyone around.. but even though she was the manager my experience was not good, it was actually the worst experience I’ve gotten in the past 2 years I’ve shopped there.I know that lady might’ve been there to buy more than me but it still doesn’t justify getting left behind by your customer representative - mind you they seemed to be fully staffed with about 4-5 extra people besides her so there’s no excuse if there was little employees so 1 employee help 2-3 customers - so I don’t see why we were just left for a lady that might’ve looked with more money or something because that’s honestly how that made me feel.I only leave reviews when something negative happens and I want the higher management to find out what’s going on in the grounds of the store such as this. Yes your Saturday manager can make you all the sale goals you set for them and that’s why they’re a manager but that also comes with them having proper customer service. The cherry on top was that we have cleaned our jewelry same day, meaning we get there ask for it to be cleaned then we shop and by the time we’re at the doors to exit our jewelry is in our hands cleaned and everything. After being left alone with the rep going to someone else I approached her once more and ask about cleaning … she said “you can drop it off and pick it up tomorrow” I was left confused because we went early in the day and I know cleaning shouldn’t and hasn’t ever taken more than 1 day to be done. I just truly think she just didn’t want to help my husband and I or atleast made it look like it because we basically would ask for help and not get helped with any service. We asked about the promotion and we got made feel dumb, we asked for help with a sale and she abandoned us, we asked about cleaning and she clearly seemed annoyed. I hope Im the only one that has had an experience as this one and if I’m not make sure that one female manager from this past Saturday gets re coached or something. It’s a shame I love the business and their services for a manager who’s suppose to make the experience more memorable than a staff made it memorable but for a negative reason.
