John York Christian is awesome. Always remembers how I like my hair trimmed and provides great service. The only thing better than her skill and service is her personality! She is fantastic.

Steve Brewer After going to a chain stylist for several years (with inconsistent and unpredictable results each time) I started looking for a local stylist who could consistently provide a quality haircut in a style that suited me: I found that stylist in Christian. Her talent is supplemented by her cheerful and friendly personality, and I always enjoy the conversation during my visits (approx. every 4 weeks) as she can be a real hoot! I have never been disappointed with my cut and she has always been available at the appointed time. In addition to my hair, at each visit, I also get a facial, which is something I had not considered before, but is a service that I am very glad Christian provides. Christian provides a smorgasbord of services worth enquiring about. As for price, I feel she is very fair/competitive and, while cheaper cuts are available at chain stylists, I am much happier with the results (as is my wife) and feel that Christian represents excellent value. Do not be put off by the location (her shop is inside a gym). Christian is a small business owner who moved to Dallas from west Texas and is growing her customer base. As such I am happy to have found her and to support her business growth. Its been a win-win for us both.

Alex Carter Christian at Change It Up Hair Studio is amazing! She gave me a fantastic haircut and was so kind and welcoming throughout the entire experience. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for great service and a professional yet friendly vibe. Ill definitely be back!

Jennifer Andrew Tierra is the best color and cut stylist in the DFW area! It took me a couple years to find her but I have been a loyal client ever since following her from the other salon to Willow and Roots! I love that she has her own private suite now at Willow and Roots, and I can get my hair done without worrying about Covid! She follows all safety protocols and we both wore a mask the entire time! She has a special gift for getting just the right color, whether you need the perfect red, blonde, brunette, or grays covered! Her cuts and styles are incredible! MB Plano Ive been going to Lyly for fourteen years. Lyly helped me through a bad color job when we first met, health related issues with my hair (thinning, brittle etc. from medications) & finally helped me look my best when my hair was growing back after chemo. Felicia Hines Whitney is amazing! This was my first visit to Glossed Collective, and I will definitely be going back. She really listens to what you want and takes her time doing things. I feel like shes very precise and meticulous in her work, which I really appreciate. And the scalp massage she gives is amazing! I had my hair colored the day before at a different place and didnt really like the way it turned out. I originally wanted a dark, rich brunette shade all over with some face framing highlights that were subtle. I ended up with a brunette shade that had a super strong reddish hue that was really obvious in sunlight and some bright blonde streaks in the front. Whitney made some changes for me, and I loved the way it turned out! Toned down the reddish hue and gave me some subtle highlights.

AESOP Official You want it? You got it. Ive been going to Lyric to get my dark hair bleached to look like My Little Pony for almost 4 years, and somehow its magically so healthy and beautiful after each session. Lyric is fun to chat in the chair with and she always keeps the health of my hair the top priority. Ive grown out a shaved pixie to past my shoulder all while bleaching and she made sure my hair looked good along the way. After all the color voodoo, I get to see Holly who is somehow completely in tune with how to handle, cut and style my hair flawlessly. Not only does it come out gorgeous, but shes super fast! *UPDATE* I have now also seen Georg for a blowout and he is a master! I swear he was making spaghetti with my hair because this man is a CHEF. I can now say Ive spent time with the trifecta of hairstylists. Overall, I love the humor and creativity that radiates in the salon with all three artists. With the lash lift and tint, she thoroughly explained the process and aftercare and I loved my results. My daughters and I have seen her for haircuts, nails, lashes, brows and a balayage and have been happy every time.

MariKay Hamm Dana was a God send when I moved here several years ago. Yall know how hard it is to find a new hairdresser! I have wavy, curly, kinky & thick hair. As a Realtor, I have to be ready to grab & go at a moments notice He is amazing! The cut is always something easy to work with and the color always gets compliments. I have to carry his cards with mine! He even accommodated when my mom came into town & got one of the other stylists to work with mom while he did my hair so we wer e done at the same time. She has short fine hair & mine is more challenging so it worked out perfect. There are a great group of stylists at Galaxy of Salons. All Ive met are super friendly & get along with each other. Fernanda Pezzoni Jessica is the only hair stylist we allow to cut our three-year-old son’s hair and she has been doing it since his very first “professional” haircut as an infant. We were extremely blessed to have found her. The one time we went somewhere else for a more convenient location and availability, we regretted it. We had to take our son back to Jessica a few days later to try to fix his hair. Not only is Jessica proficient and experienced with boys’ haircut, she is also pleasant and professional. There is one other reason we take our child to Jessica. She works by herself and that minimizes the exposure to other children, which is particularly helpful for our family in the winter months. We are grateful to have Jessica in our lives.

Lisa I was in serious need of a very experienced color specialist after the stylist I had been seeing for several years turned my hair gray and red. It was awful. I have brown hair with blonde highlights and wanted an all over reddish brown autumn color. I reached out to Teresa via her website and she immediately sent me a text asking what had happened, asked for pictures and came up with a plan. She was able to fit me in just a day and a half later. Teresa was able to remove most of the dye from my hair and put a beautiful all over color on my hair. She also did a deep conditioning treatment and gloss. I am so happy with her. My hair is a gorgeous brown now with a little red. It’s exactly what I wanted. She’s a keeper and I will continue to see her from now on. She actually is a true color specialist with tons of experience and knowledge. It’s so hard to find someone this experienced. Her room is very large, clean and so comfortable and homey! I love it here! Truly a hidden gem in Allen!
