Savannah Robertson I’ve never had a good haircut experience like i’ve had at this amazing salon. I’ve come from a lot of bad haircuts or dyes and never was able to shake my bad luck. But today Linda has broken my curse! She was so informative and explained each step to me to make me comfortable without me asking. She was so nice and made me feel right at home in her chair. Not to mention all of the other stylists there was also kind. I’m recommending all my friends and family to this salon asap. I now have my confidence back thanks to Linda, I will be coming back for my girl!

Setareh Nazmi Afshar I recently moved from Dallas and this salon made up for all the trauma I experienced in Dallas salons! I randomly got matched with Estela and now she does all our services for all the family members. She’s friendly and kind with a great taste. Couldn’t be happier to find her.

Debi Martin I had one hair dresser here that retired. And now I have another one. This salon is extremely friendly. Most of the people are private contractors, but they worked together to make not only a very relaxed atmosphere but they make sure that each person is taken care of. I would highly recommend this place for anyone. That has hair care for nail needs.

Pam Phiffer Debra Brown, owner of Sophista Cuts, has been cutting and styling my hair for many years. She is extremely talented in cutting, coloring, highlighting & styling hair. The other Stylists in Debras shop are also all experts & are like family to many women, men & children from Midland, Odessa , & other West Texas towns.

Terra George Debra is wonderful and takes great care of my hair! I’ve been going to her for about a year and I’m very happy with her work. Highly recommend!

Patrecia Langlitz I went to Sophisticuts to have a body permanent and a hair cut. My favorite hair stylist, Oreda, did an excellent job. She listened to what I wanted and gave me just that. She is always friendly and professional. I highly recommend her.

Elizabeth Tejeda I went to McKinley for a root touch up. I have naturally dark hair and told her that I wanted a root touch up with bleach. The difference after her doing my hair is barely perceptible. My dark roots are now slightly less dark brown, nowhere near the blond color that the rest of my hair is. This was definitely a waste of $150.

Noel Clair Mimi is great! Moved out here and needed a new hairdresser and found her here! Affordable and genuinely cares about your hair. I usually just get a wash, cut, and style and am picky about my cuts and she does it perfect every time. I took my boyfriend as well another time and she did great with his hair. I also tend to not take recommendations on products, but when my hair started to become damaged from curling it for dance I took hers and my hair has done a 180.

Macee Murry Jessica was super sweet and worked with me to get exactly what I wanted, and what I didnt know my hair needed! Super appreciative that she got me in so quickly and knew exactly what she was doing.

Virginia Kelly So I went to several places before I found Jessica! Everyone saw my hair and suggested I CUT IT OFF!!! I left the last place crying!!! I felt shamed for my hair! Because its turning grey its too long, too dry... Its ugly!! But Jessica at Ajani carefully washed it, gently combed out my tangles and gave me the EXACT cut I wanted! Words cannot express my gratitude that she listened to EVERY word I said and respected my hairs natural state! Thats a professional haircut in my eyes and I would feel safe in recommending her to people with curly and long hair!

Vibhuti Gupta I got my haircut by Denise sometime in mid-June this year and she gave me the best advice and treatment during the appointment. I tried to explain to her what I was thinking, in the best way I knew how and she did such a great job! I would recommend getting her appointment if you want a haircut that leaves you feeling your best! Cut to, today, I booked an appointment for a bang trim with Denise and because of personal reasons she wasn’t able to come in to work and I was greeted by her mother, Laura (who runs the salon). I can’t even begin to put it into words what a sweet lady she is. She adjusted me for the bang trim amongst her other clients and gave me the exact bang trim I wanted. She was polite throughout and was very very kind when I tried to pay for the service. I felt so homely interacting with her that it made me miss my mom!

Rayanne Brown I had a rough night and tried to chop my hair off myself- didnt go well. Denise took me as a walk-in and fixed the carnage! The atmosphere was pleasant, there was no judgement, and the end result is perfect, especially considering the hackjob she was presented with. I will be coming back for my next cut/trim

Allison Wilson I could not be happier with my new extensions. AJ was super sweet and took time to really evaluate my hair and decided what the best way for me to have extensions again. I will continue to use her for my extensions from now on. Before and after photos attached.

Andrea Arrey AJ did a great job listening to me and doing what I actually wanted. I had some prior extensions that I had some issues with and she corrected all of those. I left feeling good about my decision and happy with choosing her. I’ve been seeing her for my upkeeps and she continues to impress. I highly recommend Reset salon and AJ. I’m very happy with my hair now.

Alice Beckstrom My favorite hair stylist (Misty) just moved to Reset Salon. Loved the salon, so spacious and filled with light. And of course, I love the way Misty colors and “paints” my hair!

Sonya Durham Had an appointment with Adriana for balayage and a cut. She was so sweet and knowledgeable. She did a beautiful job! I love my hair! Definitely go see her!

kiana leigh I worked with AJ and she’s been my go to for years now. Typically, people are afraid and picky when it comes to extreme colors but I trust AJ 100% and she does not miss. She makes me feel welcomed and I always have an amazing experience with her.

Lea Catano I had an amazing experience with Karlie as my hairstylist! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel so safe and relaxed, which was exactly what I needed. I was a bit anxious about getting a haircut with a limited amount of time, but Karlie was incredibly patient and worked with me to make sure I got the look I wanted without feeling rushed. She really took the time to listen and made me feel beautiful and confident by the end of the session. Chastity, the manager, was also very kind and welcoming, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I couldnt be happier with my visit. Karlie is a true professional, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a hairstylist who is not only skilled but also genuinely caring.

Bianca Orona Karlie was absolutely amazing. I have not had a haircut in over 10 years due to bad experiences. She was so kind and professional and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. The staff were also so attentive and kind when I walked in. I would 10/10 recommend this salon to anyone!

Kailyn Brown I booked an appointment with Eric for the first time a couple weeks ago. I was way overdue for a trim because my original stylist moved out of town & I don’t just trust anybody with my hair!! My mother in law was recommended Eric by a friend and she recommend Eric to me. I came into my appointment with sad hair. It had no life fr. I asked for a trim and for Eric to leave my hair as long as possible while still looking healthy. I had no inspo photos so I told him to do whatever he thought would look nice, again, with length. I left my appointment with my hair full of life and so healthy!! ALSO!!! He is SO gentle and I was so relaxed during my appointment. I was fighting to stay awake!! From the hair wash to the relaxing work he did, Eric gets a 1,000,000,000 out of 10 from me.

Paola Rice Eric is AMAZING!!! He does such a fantastic job! So friendly, great attitude and pretty dedicated about what he is doing. Absolutely coming back with him!

Vault Viking Stephanie listens and does a perfect job, every time. Shes the only stylist in Midland I trust, and Ive gone to Ulta.

Danielle Smith I had looked for a place to get my hair done in Midland after moving from San Antonio and after three different places I finally found Lisa at Halo. She has been a dream and always helpful when it comes to what I want to do with my hair and what she thinks is best and healthiest. Book her if you’re needing someone to listen to what you want and deliver every time!

Megan Esparza Amazing salon! All of the stylists are so sweet. I always look forward to getting my hair done with the Aveda hair products, they smell fantastic! The sinks they use to wash your hair are the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced. Definitely a high end salon. I’ve tried other salons in Midland, but I always end up going back here because their products and service are superior in my opinion.

Amairani Thomason Tristan was amazing and very helpful shaping my eyebrows and such gentle hands! Hardly felt the wax strips! Angelique did amazing with my curly hair and the experience! Loved it! Will definitely be coming back!

Marisol Montes **NEW** hair & nail salon in downtown Midland. Absolutely LOVE the location; parking garage off of Texas Street. Owner and staff are very welcoming and accommodating. I made a manicure appointment thru FB Messanger, they responded quickly. Since this is a new salon, there were limited gel colors to choose from, but I enjoyed my lunch hour with them & I am very pleased with my manicure. I have already made my next appointment with them. I hope to see this business and their services expand.

Alli Rodriguez Have been seeing Jacqueline for lash extensions for almost 3 years. I always get asked who does them and she’s honestly the BEST (not exaggerating)! I feel like a million bucks after a fill because they look so great. Also have been seeing Nohely for haircuts for a few years. Every time either of them perform a service on me (lash fill/haircut/style), they do exactly what I ask. I always leave a happy customer and that is why I continue returning. Always recommending them. Both ladies are great and very professional.

Anette Jaquez Jacqueline is the best lash tech in town!! 10/10 definitely recommend!! I also get my nails done by Cassandra and she’s the best hands down! Always takes her time and they come out perfect! Every single time They don’t disappoint.

Paulina Ramirez I never write reviews, but this time I need to say how disappointed I am. I went in for an all-over color and a haircut a few days ago. I should’ve seen the red flags from the beginning; we really never had a consultation to begin with. First of all, she made me feel dumb since I asked for an all-over color that was dark brown, but I didn’t want it to be too dark and look black. I guess the way I said it didn’t really make sense, but it made sense to me. The way she looked at me and the way she was talking to me made me feel stupid. Im not a hair stylist, so of course I don’t know how to really explain the level of hair color. She did end up doing a hair gloss. I’m guessing thats what I have since she never told me what she did. All she said was that it was more healthy than getting an all-over color. The color is pretty close to what I wanted. I have no problem with it. Now let’s talk about the actual haircut. When I tell you that I literally cried when I saw my hair the day after I did. My hair came out so uneven, and the layers had different layers within the layers. At first, I thought I was crazy and was overexaggerating, but when it was dry and not style, I knew I wasn’t crazy. Of course, when you have your hair done, you cant really see how it really looks. That’s why I never said anything. I did text her to let her know that I wasn’t happy with the haircut. The day after I even sent her pictures. She did tell me to come in for her to fix it, and the fact that she didn’t think she did anything wrong shows the level of professionalism on her part. It sounded like it was my fault, and that’s what I wanted, and that she never had unhappy clients. but I denied it. How am I going to go with someone who ruined my hair? I went to another hairstylist, and she confirmed how terrible the haircut was. She even showed me everything The other hairstylist did, and my jaw dropped to the floor at how uneven and choppy the haircut was. Even the bangs were different lengths, they were so uneven and not blended, the face framing layers did not match each other on either side, with one side being shorter than the other. She had to cut even more hair to be able to fix it.(my hair was so botched that we had to go even shorter) Hair grows, but I paid for a service, only to end up hating it and crying over how short it is) Now I have to live in high buns; I can’t even do a ponytail because of how short my hair is, and I dont know if I can even do hair extensions. I ended up with the trauma of never going back to a hair salon again. Please do your research before you go with just anyone. Her work looked amazing in pictures. And her having 11 years of experience made me feel confident enough to go with her, but lesson learned. I should’ve known better. I should’ve asked more questions and been more direct about what I really wanted. $200+ down the drain on a haircut that’s super short and that I hate. I do blame myself since I was too nice or way too naïve to know better after seeing all the red flags. Hair is a persons identity. Thank you for taking that away TONI BROWN!!!

The salon is always clean, the stylists are friendly, and the salon is overall very well put together. I recommend the Vibe to everyone I know!

Mymy Lastname Horrible that they treat people badly!!! I was scheduled for a certain time. I get there on time. I was made to wait while she was still working on someone else. Then, made to wait while she said she would get something to eat????? Why was I scheduled at that time then??? I should have been scheduled an hour later so that I could be helped properly. Then also waiting there were two other women and felt like we were at a funeral home. No music and just left there. They do not respect your time, and I do not recommend this place. One hour of my life wasted and that I will never get back. I will never be back. Thank goodness there is always other people that are kind and respect peoples time.

michael woodall This place is awesome I no longer have to drive to Odessa for a haircut... I just call before most time because it a salon not a barber shop and I know ladies want access to what for them so I make sure Im not intruding and the ladies take care of me when possible... And they are not expensive at all some places like to jack prices up I get a simple cut and it comes out great at a great price...

Edward Mendez I have been following my stylist, Patti, around to various salons. Shes that good! Ray-Clark Salon is a nice place. The decor is modern and trendy. Upon entering, the stylist that was working on a client stopped to ask how she could help me, FYI the receptionist was out to lunch. I told her I was there to see Patti and she invited me to have a seat and even offered a me drink of water while I waited. So far, so good. The shopping center the salon is located in has quite a few popular spots, i.e. Starbucks, Grub Burger Bar, Heroes Gym, etc. so I had a difficult time finding a parking spot in the very busy and crowded parking spot. Get there early enough to look for a parking spot or allow ample time to walk from your parking spot to the salon.

Elizabeth Wesley Love this salon! My hairdresser is Darlene, and she knows how to cut and style long hair without cutting too much off. I get my hair cut every six weeks to ensure it doesnt break off, and this salon knows all about hair, color and nails!

shell After driving around town to 3 different salons, getting turned down because my hair was damaged no one wanted to touch it. None of them even actually looked at my hair. But when i walked in to ray clark i waa greeted right away and they brought a stylist to look at my hair she did my hair right then and there and im amazed how great it looks after what its been through. Vivian Gutierrez I called in to schedule a hair appointment in a weeks advance and setup an appointment with the hair stylist, Kendall. On the day of my appointment another hairstylist told me that Kendall was unable to reach me by phone or text. After I told her that I did not receive any calls or texts. This person suggested that the receptionist Ofelia must of had noted my number incorrectly! I drove 2 hours from Balmorhea to have my hair color to this 4 Stars Hair Salon which I’m very disappointed on how this was handled.

Josh Smith My son went in to get a cut Friday he ask the lady not to cut his hair past his eyebrows and I when my son Was done his hair was uneven and look horrible I taught my son never to complain to a women women just let me talk to a manger ..I called and the receptionist answered and asked me to send pictures of my son’s haircut so she could show her manager I did that she calls me back and said Brenda on the way I asked the receptionist her opinion on the pictures and she says yes the haircut is very bad and uneven then she says Brenda will call me. Then Brenda tells me that her solution is cutting it again witch mean his hair is gonna be cut shorter I said no she said I’m not refining your 45 dollars I said ok I’m not asking you to I just want to get it perm she said that’s 100 dollars I said are you going to put the 45 dollars toward the perm she said no so they basically are stealing 45 dollars and want me to pay full price on a perm ..so I ask for the owner and he was unwilling to refund my 45 dollars saying he has bills to pay he said I can pay full price so they basically stole 45 dollars from me stay away from this place I’m sure the do cut good but if you have a bad experience they will not fix it I’m so upset because my son missed my wedding rehearsal because he was so insecure about his hair stay away from this place they are thieves all I asked him was could you put the $45 towards $100 perm and I would pay the rest and they didn’t want to do that I’m so upset then they hung up on my I will expose them on every site I can look at the picture of my son hair worst cut he’s ever got

Merxene Mendiola I had such an amazing experience here! Kenzie Black was my stylist and Im never going anywhere else again! She was very knowledgeable and personable, the salon environment is clean and calm, and the other stylista are also very kind. I highly recommend this salon, they know what theyre doing! The stylists work well together and give one another tipa, complements, and like to share their work with each other and I found that added to the light-hearted atmosphere and made me feel pretty zen while I was there. The first 3 images are the day of and the wash day after she dyed my hair April 2022, and the next 2 are how well the color has lasted since then till now in September. I just got a trim and layers done this week and I love my hair!

Casey Giles I called the salon for a hair emergency to get a root touch up for my sister’s wedding, which was happening in a week. Tommy, one of the stylists, answered the phone and was able to fit me in the same day. I hadn’t been there before so they had no way of knowing the right color formula for my hair. Thankfully I had the formula from my last stylist, but Mint didn’t have the same products for coloring hair. Tommy was able to match the color for my hair perfectly with the products they did have, based on the color formula from my previous stylist. He was incredibly thorough, kind, attentive, and a great listener during the processing :) Also. Pricing for everything was very fair, he didn’t try to price gouge me for the services (color, but and style). I’ve already scheduled my next appointment and I’ve recommended him to a friend of mine for a hair cut :)

kevin rodriguez Vanessa is my hairdresser and quite frankly my favorite too! I went in to get a perm not really knowing much about them and she guided me through everything I needed to know. I’m glad I trusted her because I ended up loving the result! She is very professional and will exceed expectations, thanks!

Raven Ford I didnt like how Faye did my lace closure sew-in. It was okay when I left her salon, but a week later the lace closure was about half an inch from my hairline, exposing my hair underneath (she did not use a wig cap). My hairline began to look messy 2 weeks in and it looked fake since you can almost see my front braids. Wont be going back.

Jaslyn Eldridge I tried going to Juanna Faye who does the sew ins and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The frontal was literally floating an inch from my scalp when I left and she gave me instructions to buy a “wig grip” to let it “melt”. I did and it didn’t work so I went back. She tried again and made it even worse. There was so much glue in my actual hair that pieces of the wig cap are currently still stuck in my hair a month later. I might have to get it cut which why I decided to come write a review. One of stylist does my perms and rod sets & is great. I gave it a pity star because of her but if I could, I’d put none.

A Graham The hairdresser did not listen to my requests, burned me with a flat iron, and the resulting cut is not at all close to even or straight. Update: The picture was taken in a friends home so I could see just how bad the cut was. And that lame excuse came over 5 years after my review was originally posted. Its long since been fixed by a true professional.

Leigh Scallorn Kelli is amazing! This was my first time getting my hair cut at Gigis but Kelli made me feel like I had been a client for years. The consulation before cutting was very thorough. The cut was just what I wanted. I have never had a stylist take such care to get every cut exaclty right but she did. She was friendly and just lovely. She urge me to come back if I felt there was something wrong with the cut like tags of hair. There were NONE. She did a superb job and I felt very comfortable. I will be a regular client from now on. Angelica Villa I have been going to Oyuki for years, since this place has opened I have used several of her stylists and I absolutely trust and love them all. You get a welcoming feeling from this place and they listen to what you want. The owner adds new innovative products to her place and her pride shows throughout the property. I look forward to my blow outs from here and want to try the Odessa location soon!

Vanessa Quero I wish I could give 0 stars to this place. If you don’t know how to do a haircut, tell me from the beginning and I’ll decide whether to continue or leave, but don’t ruin my hair. I was letting it grow for a long time to be able to make a butterfly hairstyle and many layers in addition to my bangs but it ended up being a cut that my 15-year-old little sister could have done at home. They didn’t even know how to do my blow dry.

Revay Romero If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I am absolutely in awe of the service and the way the employees acted after my cousin and I scheduled a same day appointment. The front desk was unprofessional sitting on her phone with her leg hiked up on the chair. They didn’t schedule us for two people when I specifically called and booked for 2 people so the front desk asked Savannah to fit my cousin in back to back with me and she said she could. Mind you, I booked for a wash and style. Savannah was rude and didn’t talk to me once and as soon as she finished with me she told us that she could not fit my cousin in because she had an appointment. She told me she would reach out to her colleagues and see if anyone could come and do it for us. We sat there for 20 minutes until we finally decided to leave and no one was at the front desk so we had to wait again. Savannah then came up and asked if we were leaving and I told her I just wanted to pay and speak to someone about them no scheduling us properly and if she knew she couldn’t for us both in why didn’t she call someone sooner to take my cousin. She pretty much ignored everything I said and as soon as the receptionist came in she just told her to charge me for my appointment and that she can’t take my cousin. I then explained to the receptionist everything that happened and told her I wanted to speak to a supervisor and she said no one was in which is not right, there should always be a supervisor or manager in for these kinds of circumstances, she said she would take my name and number and have a supervisor call as soon as she’s in, it’s been two days and I have not received any phone call or anything. I will not be returning here and don’t recommend it to anyone, the customer service is not pleasant and very unprofessional.

Julia Overby Olivia is awesome. This is the second time I’ve gotten my hair done and I can say she does not disappoint. She does everything and goes beyond. I’m so happy I found her.

Alonzo Gonzalez I honestly did not have a good experience in the salon. Esmeralda never told me that I would be charged for 2 different color services even though she was correcting her initial coloring. She kept having to ask other stylists for advice on how to mix colors and how to use purple shampoo. Then she took pictures of my hair without even asking me if its fine. I appreciate that she took me in the same day I called, but there was such a lack of communication and professionalism. I will be honest. I told my bank to put a stop payment on the check I signed for her. I dont believe I received excellent service.

Cat Turner I had a hair color EMERGENCY and Esmeralda got me in 20 min after I called in a panic on a FRIDAY!! She got my hair back to human form (a pretty brown color) and I’m forever grateful she was there to help me. Thank you Glow Salon!

Rachel Kindt I enjoy this salon the most, visited more than a year. I really like my stylist Angie, and there are a few other great stylists! Friendly staff and usually great service. Sadly, my stylist was running a little behind today, I was happy to be seen and still highly recommend Angie, Adam, and others at this place. I hope you can visit this salon and enjoy yourself.

Victoria The first time Dali turned me blonde I was hooked! I’ve seen many stylist and truly mo one does a better job. Check out the pictures on Facebook! I mean honestly I get complimented on my hair often. I’ve learned from experience how hard it is to find a hair stylist that truly can make your hair color fit you. Dali is 10/10. I cannot say enough good things.

Zee’s Oasis If I could give this place a zero, I would. This place nearly ruined one of the most important days of my life. My Sweet 16. The effort put into my hair was rough and practically minimal. Not to mention the fact that they messed up my mom’s hair as well. She asked for an elegant updo. None of the pictures had braids in them and the stylist gave her practically a completely different updo with braids in it. I say nearly ruined cause another stylist from a different place fixed my hair. They should work on getting people’s dream hair accurate. I could’ve done a better job tbh.

linda meza Had an appointment at 2:00 pm I got off from work at 1:00 pm so that I could be there on time they did not attended me until almost 3:30 i why do you make appointments if you are not seen I didn’t get our until 6:30 pm all I went there was to do root color on my hair and they charged 70 dollars way to I did not like it they didn’t speak English they have a 13 year old girl working at the counter when she should be in school I do not recommend this place they have 3 year old kids gunning around the Stalin Get a baby sitter I know this because they kept running to there mom while she was doing hair dyes and saying they were hungry Never will I go to this place again

Leo Bustamante Avoid heavyweight broad in the middle messed my hair cut up for no reason and I still tiped her and when I went to see if she could fix it. She acted dumb next time just refuse service you dont have to do people like that. Great place good barbers bad experience

Spartan King Been getting cuts (haircuts) here since I was in high school hairstylist/barbers come and go but there is always someone who can cut hair great. This place has never failed me if you need a cut this is the place to go.

Jorge Pena This is a small barbershop, this was my first time going there and I absolutely loved the service! They were very profesional and very conscious of the current Covid situation. Daisy did an amazing job cutting my hair, being friendly, and making good conversation. The service was fast and professional. The price was what surprised me the most. I hardly say this but they should charge a bit more for their service. Will definitely be back to get my cut in 2 wks. Best barbershop I found so far in midland.
