Pinaki Shaw Got a partial balayage done here with no bleaching and got amazing results. Huge shout out to Ashley for doing such an amazing job. She did a trial on my hair and gave me all the info to make a decision of what I would like to go with. She made sure I felt comfortable and had a good time. The vibe of the place is amazing - good music, lots of natural light and soooo many plants!! First time ever leaving a salon with a long appointment and not feeling tired. Definitely recommend.

Morgan Carr Priscilla did an amazing job with my cut. Even though I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted, she helped bring my blurry vision into reality! And it looks amazing no matter how I style it. She did a great job layering and giving me back volume. Thank you, Priscilla!!

Holly Smoot I had an amazing experience at La Maison today where I had an all-natural scalp detox plus cut and style. They took the time to really listen, address any questions or concerns and recommend options and products to help. Amosphere is very relaxing and spa-like and stylists are friendly and extremely talented. Results were fantastic and left feeling and looking years younger!

L Smith I have been in Dallas for 3 years and have been through over 10 salons looking for the one. This could be it. Jamie is very nice and offers a consultative style. She saw me at night and she and her assistant must have been tire but they were very kind and open. I received top-notch service and a darn good haircut. My hair actually looks nice. I hope I didnt offend you by putting a hat on. It was soooo cold. I took it off right away when I got home and the curls were perfect!!!

Caitlin Silva Update: I noticed my roots when I got home and there are a lot of harsh lines away from my scalp that are really obvious especially when I part my hair a certain way. There’s just like a stark line where the blond starts in certain spots. It’s going to be even more noticeable as soon as my hair grows out even a little bit. Kind of upset about that. The main reason I get highlights instead of my whole head is to avoid a drastic line of color when my hair starts to grow. I’m going to have to get my hair done again much sooner than I like, but the rest of the blond is really pretty. Mark was so nice and such a cool guy! He did a fantastic job on my hair. Also the price was super reasonable. Just look at the picture, the hair speaks for itself.

Kasandra Bell My daughter and I visited Marks salon and are very happy with the results! He did a great job on our hair while respecting our wishes and helping us determine what we wanted. We both thought we wanted new looks but realized we wanted to keep our long hair but needed a good cut. Our hair looked amazing when we left! My hair had started to turn grey before I visited his salon. When he was done there was no grey left, he did not color my hair! It was restored to beautiful, healthy condition! A completely unexpected bonus for me! Mark is personable and easy to talk to and his studio is very comfortable. He does a wonderful scalp massage too! Emily Parsons Mark was AMAZING! I was in a panic as I’d be left disappointed with another salon’s work (full head of blonde highlights) and I’m getting married in a week. I found Mark on Google and gave him a call. He managed to fit me in very quickly (which is rare for a 4 hour appointment!). He took his time talking through the process, what he was doing, and why. His attention to detail was impeccable and I’m so happy with how my hair turned out. The salon is really comfortable, clean and has a great vibe. Not only was Mark’s work great, but he’s a genuinely lovely person. My appointment was during a snow storm and he very kindly walked me out and to the car to make sure I was safe. So kind! Tiera Collier Krizz’tina has been my nail tech for so many special occasions. I will never go elsewhere! The “what I asked for” and “what I got” are always spot on or better than expected. I used to be intimidated in nail shops cause I didn’t know enough to know what to ask for. So I always left unsatisfied. But she educated me so much on nail products, nail health and cleanliness in salons. Her work is professional, not rushed, and she communicates so I understand what’s happening. Also, she is so fun. ** It seems Derek has taken on more clients than he can handle, and in the process, he’s let arrogance take the wheel. I called multiple times during business hours to book an appointment, only to be met with voicemail instructing me to leave my details for a callback. When Kimberly finally called back, it was at the worst possible time—while I was in a meeting. She requested 2 photos of my hair so Derek could determine how much time was needed. After I sent the photos they ignored me until the next day, only to tell me to find another stylist because Derek decided my hair needed foil highlights and he only does balayage. Apparently, my hair just wasn’t worthy of his artistry.

Cassandra Pacifico I am so thrilled with my new haircut! Derek did his magic on my hair and it feels, looks and moves so much differently now! Wow! Savannah Hittson **Wrote this review on Studio 1514 where I saw Alan but he no longer works there and they asked me to share here where he works** Who you allow to work for your company does reflect on your business and the services you do provide I did not want to write this review right away but since I have had many people ask about my experience with Alan Khoa I am sharing. I had an appointment scheduled at 10 am with Alan for hair and makeup. I show up early to my appointment to which I am waiting until 10:10 for him to let me know he would be running behind. This was not a great first impression but I don’t like to complain about people being human. But once he arrive at 10:30, the energy was gross. I scheduled a blow out, he seemed annoyed he had to wash my hair…. The whole experience I felt was very passive aggressive and super uncomfortable. I would never send someone to see Alan Khoa. Makeup - looked good though. Hair - meh.

Zindri Van der Merwe Gino is a master colorist ! Its rare to find a stylist so excellent with blonde color. Ive been going to him for 6 years and he always exceeds my expectations. Ive even recently gone in with a photo to change up my usual blonde and HE NAILED IT! His service is EXCELLENT, his pricing is unmatched and he is genuinely just the kindest human ever ! Ive met quite a few of his clients too when Ive gone in for a service and many have been there for YEARS too. It speaks volumes. Jacquelyn Rodas Crystal is and will always be my favorite! Very professional, amazing personality, I feel I can rely on having a good/funny conversation when I go see her. I have always been VERY picky about who touches my hair especially after my big chop and being a natural head for 3 years she always reassures me and is very honest about my options but always takes what I want into consideration which I feel is very hard to find nowadays. Her blowouts are a 10/10 and I always leave feeling so fresh and pretty. Will definitely ALWAYS recommend Crystal to any and everybody! Also I am always grateful for JP and Skyler for never failing to welcoming me with a nice glass of champagne or wine. Literally LOVE it here!

Lauren Turner Mere Salon is the best in the business. They have the best staff! I personally see Crystal, and she is the most wonderful colorist. Every time I want to switch up my hair, color wise, she somehow magically always makes the vision come true. She really takes her time and listens to her clientele and is honest about if she can get that exact color or not. Her cuts are fabulous, and if you are a curly haired girl like myself, she is the girl for you! I can’t rave enough about the salon but also Crystal! Go see for yourself!!!

Lauren Petka I hate to do this, but I just left my appointment for a color and conditioning treatment. I told my stylist that I wanted to get rid of the orange undertones in my hair, and she made my hair orange. They tried to convince me that it was just the lighting in the salon, so I stepped outside to look and it was truly orange. I asked her to make it darker, less orange (my original ask) to which she corrected it - but as we all know, once the color she put on top of the original color washes out, it will be back to orange and will stay until it all fully grows out (I have pretty long hair). At the end of it all, they charged me full price for everything. No manager apology, nothing. I am absolutely devastated and hope that others do extensive research before going to this salon, or at least booking with the woman I booked with. Also, loved being stared at by the woman at the front desk with the big eyelashes the entire time. What a lovely touch that was.

Paige Briscoe Katie Trammel is my go-to girl for the best hair coloring in Dallas. I was referred to Katie by one of my closest friends. From right when I booked my appointment with Katie, she went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I came into PIN with very damaged Blonde hair (I am naturally a brunette). Ive been blonde for 10 years and my hair really needed some TLC. Katie knocked it out of the park.. she made my hair dream come true after struggling to find a great colorist in Dallas for years. Bonnie Blakes Miracle worker! Tasheara has single handedly taken my hair from short, relaxed, bleached, and damaged to long, thick, silky, and HEALTHY. When I started going to Tasheara, she slowly trimmed my relaxed bleached hair away with each appointment and I could immediately see improvement in my hair. I’ll definitely be coming back for my next color and cut!

Cristi Day I had such a wonderful experience at Salon D, and specifically, with Hannah! She listened carefully to my requests and concerns and gave me a fantastic cut and style, adding more volume to my fine, thinning hair. She was very meticulous and extremely gentle with my tender head, as well. On top of all that, Hannah is absolutely delightful, and it’s so obvious that she cares about her clients. Thanks Hannah and Salon D!!

This was my first time seeing her at this salon, and it was a wonderful experience. The owner even came by while she was doing my hair. He was so nice and attentive. You can tell hes so supportive of his stylist. AMAZING experience! Will definitely be back!

LaDonna Gerhart I have been seeing Shawna for my haircuts and color for almost a year now and I could not be happier with the results! From the very first appointment she made me feel comfortable and took the time to listen to my preference and concerns. She is extremely talented and understands what cuts and color work best for my face shape and skin tones . Salon D has a very inviting and upbeat atmosphere! Kathryn Mastrogiovanni This is my favorite salon in Dallas. Both Jasmine and Nickie are fabulous with color. Ive never been disappointed! I also love my blowouts from Ashley. And everyone at the front desk are so helpful, friendly and fun. Everyone in the salon take amazing care of me and I always love going and leave there feeling like a million bucks!!!

McKenzie Johns My haircut from Shayla was amazing! Since moving back to Dallas, I’ve struggled to find a hair stylist I trust but now Shayla will be my go-to. Not only is she an incredibly talented stylist, but she was super easy to talk to. She listened to what I wanted, gave honest suggestions, and my hair looks amazing! It had been a year since I last cut my hair and I was super nervous after getting a terrible bob at different salon a year before. I’m growing out the bob and have really struggled with how to style my naturally wavy hair. Luckily, Shayla was able to shape it up and still maintain plenty of length. I honestly feel like myself again after my cut and my hair looks so much cuter. You definitely don’t have to worry about her getting “scissor happy” and chopping off inches and inches of your hair. She understands how to cut thick, wavy hair and knew how to handle my hair texture, which was a huge plus because my last stylist not understanding my hair is how I got a bob that was 6 inches shorter than what I asked for *cry*. My hair just looks and feels so amazing. Could not recommend enough. Also wanted to mention that the salon itself was beautiful and the staff were helpful and friendly. Despite being a high-end salon they had deals and specials which was nice and unexpected. I got a free hair mask because my friend recommended me to the salon and also got 20% off my haircut since it was my first visit. The cut was so good I would have happily paid full price, but the surprise savings at the end were great too haha.

Hannah Rolón Had a fantastic color appointment with Izzy! Time passed quickly and suddenly my hair went from a violet wine tone (home dye) to a vivid sunset color melt and styled beautifully. Comfortable, clean, and beautiful space. Front desk is kind, efficient, and hospitality is obviously prioritized here!

Emmaline Nichols I cant even believe Im posting these pictures, but I went to get a trim at A DIFFERENT place & long story short they messed up so bad (I had long blonde hair). I went to Ashley two days after because I was so upset and she was so calm and handled this better than I could have imagined. She is so talented!! Ive attached the before I went to the Lure with the worst haircut I have ever seen and the next picture is after I saw Ashley.

Vanessa Martinez Love love love Crecer and the customer service here! My last haircut was in June and didn’t feel the need to get another one until just now in November! My hair has grown out so beautifully thanks to Audrey!! Audrey’s attention to detail is absolutely the best! My hair comes out so full and shiny without all the weight! Katie Sheppard Second time with Isabella and another great experience. She took time at the beginning to understand what cut/style I’m seeking and even explains her approach. She has incredible eye for detail and dare I say, a perfectionist with her craft. And the hair was experience is so relaxing and an experience in itself. I live in the neighborhood and am so glad I found this place and Isabella. And the vibe of the space has always been relaxing and I love the plants!

Jade Gonzales My experience at Crecer was amazing from the color consult to the end product. I met with Isabella for a color consult, and she was very thorough with inquiring about past hair colorings, and asked to see inspiration pictures. She did a great job with collaborating with me on our end goal while also being realistic. By the end of the consult, I felt super confident in how my color appointment (La Pintura) was going to go! Come appointment day, Isabella explained each step of the process & what she was doing alongside with how long certain periods were going to last (ie: letting the bleach sit for 20 minutes, etc). She was very kind and matched my vibe that day, which was tired from work & not so talkative- to which I really appreciated as some can salons make it feel awkward sitting in silence or try to fill the silence with unnatural small talk The salon itself is so beautiful, and the staff are very welcoming. Just over hearing how they talk to each other but also other guests made the space so full of life. It’s a breath of fresh air to see people who look like me and feel at ease from the moment you walk through their door, Crecer has a beautiful community they’ve built Isabella did amazing on my hair, gave helpful recommendations to keep my hair in the best condition at home, and I’m excited to come back for any touch ups in the future. Crecer is a great salon, and I’ve already been recommending people to the salon and giving Isabella her flowers!

Olivia Hayes I had an amazing experience with Desire! She does amazing haircuts and nail designs. You can tell she really cares about the details and making sure you leave happy. Plus, the vibe was super relaxed and fun. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Desire to anyone looking for great hair and nails!

Angelita Delgadillo Audrey Cuenca is my favorite stylist! I’m a 2 cuts a year gal and every time Audrey cuts my hair the style and cut really last! I got my last cut 7 months ago, and only got it cut this week because I wanted to take some length off. The style still looks great. She’s an expert in “lived in hair,” crafting hairstyles that naturally look good without me needing to do big hair blowouts to achieve the same style I leave the salon with. Highly recommend!

Bryce Blackwell Elijah was great! Walked me through how to understand my curly hair and different styling options I can explore while also making sure I liked the way he was cutting it. Love the look and appreciate the product samples to try styling my unruly hair. I will definitely be back.
