I met with Isabella for a color consult, and she was very thorough with inquiring about past hair colorings, and asked to see inspiration pictures. She did a great job with collaborating with me on our end goal while also being realistic. By the end of the consult, I felt super confident in how my color appointment (La Pintura) was going to go! Come appointment day, Isabella explained each step of the process & what she was doing alongside with how long certain periods were going to last (ie: letting the bleach sit for 20 minutes, etc). She was very kind and matched my vibe that day, which was tired from work & not so talkative- to which I really appreciated as some can salons make it feel awkward sitting in silence or try to fill the silence with unnatural small talk
The salon itself is so beautiful, and the staff are very welcoming. Just over hearing how they talk to each other but also other guests made the space so full of life. It’s a breath of fresh air to see people who look like me and feel at ease from the moment you walk through their door, Crecer has a beautiful community they’ve built
Isabella did amazing on my hair, gave helpful recommendations to keep my hair in the best condition at home, and I’m excited to come back for any touch ups in the future. Crecer is a great salon, and I’ve already been recommending people to the salon and giving Isabella her flowers!
