Generz OxO They are a good cut for the price. They are conveniently located near my office, so I get cuts there about once per month. Typically a short line. Recommended.

TK I love Danny Flawless - he’s an incredible artist with lots of experience and knowledge. He’s the only person in Austin who understands my hair and gets the color right every time. I trust him completely and I love his work. Thank you Danny for making me feel amazing.

Terrie Leyton Amanda does my niece’s hair and it always looks great. I had to see what she could do with my mess. She faded the horrible grey line that is growing in over previously dyed hair and put in highlight, lowlights, and a toner to soften it all. I think it’s fábulas!

Kimberly Roberts Super cute salon! There’s tons of natural light, great vibes, and some impressive house plants. Easy parking out back, too. But, y’all! My very favorite thing about this salon is booking with Amanda Wilburn. I’ve booked cuts, color, extensions, and blowouts. She makes magic happen each time and I trust her guidance with all things hair! She shares info, tips, tricks, and products that prove she cares about the health of my hair. Stephanie Klausing I cannot recommend Sovay enough! Not only is she’s incredibly talented when it comes to both cuts and color, but the level of customer service is unmatched. Every time I visit, Sovay takes the time to really listen to what I want and offers helpful suggestions that always result in the perfect look. Dana Bridwell I have been coming to Sovay for haircut and color for over 10 years now. She is the best stylist I’ve ever had. She listens yet makes recommendations based on her professional opinion and the amount of maintenance I’m willing to give my hair ( she always steers me in the right direction and knows my vibe…low maintenance) She has seen my hair go thru changes as I’ve gotten older and it always turns out fabulous. Not only is she a great stylist but a great person! I highly recommend you come see Sovay. She’s the best!!!

Nia Sokolov Too many great things to say about Sovay and her entire salon team. On top of always leaving the salon feeling beautiful, she took the time to get to know me personally, she doesn’t insist you buy certain products, she has showed me how to style my hair that I’ve struggled with for years, she (and her crew) are so pleasant to chat with while she is working on my hair. She is especially amazing with my long Asian hair!! I quite literally love her. So real and so talented at her work.

Kirsten Timco Kati, Evan, and Becky are all phenomenal hair stylists. I have been getting my hair dyed and cut here for ten years and it is always perfection! Today Kati corrected my bleached blonde hair to this beautiful natural brown, and the price was as amazing as the results! Highly recommend!!

Regan Burkey Maran is an incredible stylist and does and exceptional balayage. She has an eye for the smallest detail and has perfected her technique with color like no stylist Ive ever had before. She loves her work and that comes out in her warm conversation and impeccable ability to listen to her clients. She asks questions about her clients hair habits, preferences and vision to get a style concept that will be perfect for anyones lifestyle. From nail designs to makeup artistry she has expertise in it all and now, she is the go-to person for a perfect hair color and precise cut and style!

L. Wallace Such an amazing hair salon! Each stylist lends so much experience and panache to their craft. Weve been going there for years. Becky, Kat, Evan, and the rest are incredible. The salon has a super friendly vibe as evidenced by the collaboration among the staff. The prices are reasonable for a high-end salon, and the hours are perfect for anyone. I highly recommend Haute and cant imagine in my wildest dreams going anywhere else.

Takeysha allen Chanda is amazing!!!!! She is very talented and patient with excellent customer service. I cant wait to bring my daughter!

Soly Poly It honestly started off with me wanting a quick place to get my brows done for a wedding. Then it turned into a monthly basis. I really like how lovely all the girls are, they’re all nice and sweet. The place is very clean and the pricing isn’t extreme. It is definitely worth coming here in my opinion. I get my brows and upper lip done and they come out so nice. Chanda was the girl I sometimes get back to back love her and love all the girls. You want nice brows I suggest here it’s very much worth it.

Daniel Gonzales I’ve been coming here for 1 year and 2 months and I absolutely love it!! Chanda is always very nice and understanding about how I want my eyebrows to be done. She does an amazing job and takes the time to do the work. I would 100% recommend to anyone and she will take care of you!!

Mario Martinez Very friendly and professional. I have been cutting my hair with Ana for over 12 years. Fair prices for a very well trained staff and the best part is that is family owned! you will deal directly with the owner and not some corporate bot that does not care about customers.

Jay_ Vlogs kathin she selfish I was trying to have my shop at the same plaza 9515 north Lamar the manager asked Kathin African hair braiding coming to this plaza Jamie told me Kathin said no she does African hair braiding too and Kathin said only her could have a salon in this plaza. When I had called kathin I ask her if she does African American hair she said no I dont know who lied in this situation Jamie or Kathin Ive been waiting for Jamie for 3-weeks straight there was guy that was gonna give me a shop but Jamie told me to wait for him now all of a sudden everything downfall

Keira Hand Crystal is such an amazing stylist! I wanted to change salons after some frustrating lack of communication and consistency with my previous stylist, and I am so thrilled with her color and cut skills. Throughout the whole appointment Crystal checked in with me before each step, swatched colors to make her they were exactly what I wanted, and made sure I was confident in each step of my hair being cut(which can normally be pretty scary when cutting 6+ inches off!). Im so happy to have found my new home salon!

Deanna Aguilar Clarissa is my new go to person for nails. I’m so beyond happy and even excited to go to her once a month. She’s so friendly and super creative. Will absolutely continue going to her for the rest of my life lol

Julia Rose I’ve been a loyal client to Liz Holt for years. She is a very talented colorist but today I unfortunately learned that she values quick cash grabs over costumer loyalty. I woke up the day of my appointment sick with a fever and when I called the salon and they made me aware of their policy where you have to pay full price for day of cancellations. I offered to come in with a mask and that offer was rejected. Liz Holt charged me $390 for waking up sick. It truly feels like a gut punch because I’m pretty easy going, always on time, always down to let her take photos and always tip 20%. I’ve seen her for years and even trusted her to do my wedding hair. This is the first time I’ve ever had to cancel last minute and I thought we had built a good rapport and trust. I understand paying the full service fee for a no call no show but to do this to a client who has seen you for years has made me lose all respect for her and this salon. This whole situation has left me feeling used and discarded as a client. I would’ve been okay with paying fee but to pay for the full service is beyond messed up. I hate writing negative reviews but I’m so incredibly disappointed and heartbroken by this treatment so I feel like I need to warn other loyal clients that years of support mean absolutely nothing to her.

Haleigh Wagner Brittany is so talented, she has done my hair for a few years now and her work is so amazing! She has done brunette, blonde and fun colors in my hair and does a great job every time. She has great attention detail and gives such a relaxing service. She gives the best shampoos!! 5 stars isn’t enough for her. Also the space at Bradz is so cozy and cute. I love the multiple beverage options and snacks, such a thoughtful detail.

Christy Schier Mitchell Ive been going to Bradz for 20 years. Its truly an Austin gem. The best of "old Austin": charming space in an old house, friendly workers, laid back vibes, welcoming atmosphere. Ive worked with a variety of stylists and received consistently good service. I love that they are an Aveda salon and it always smells so good. They will always show you what products they used but I never feel pressured to buy anything. Prices are very reasonable considering the rates at other salons in town. Never change, Bradz!

Alex Poscente LITERALLY love Bradz and my hair stylist Britt — my go to salon for anything hair related in Austin. Could not recommend more they’re so helpful and talented and sweet.

Rick Snider Id give this company a ZERO if I could. Ive attempted to contact the Austin region representative through the corporate web site and through their personal phone number. No responses have ever come through. I realize that there may not be any suites available for rent, but I expect the common courtesy of at least a return phone call or e-mail. Glad I did not rent a suite from them as I would probably have a poor experience with maintenance and other concerns if they cant even return a phone call. AVOID.

Briana Ovations by Vicki is the first salon I’d ever been to in Austin & I feel no need to look any further for any other hair stylist. She is very good at what she does. My hair was in bad shape when I went in, but I left feeling so much better about myself because my hair looked amazing. Also her salon was just a good welcoming environment. Good conversation was had which is always a plus when getting your hair done.

Kathryn Freeman My stylist Vicky Kelley has worked out of this suite for years. She’s an amazing hair stylist. I really enjoy coming to My Salon Suite. It is beautiful inside and easy to navigate. You can find any type of beauty service you need and it’s easy to discover new talent.

Grace Gravestock Had a great experience with Kim Rua at Meche Organic Salon. Grateful that she was willing to come in on her day off to accommodate my schedule! I appreciate the highlights and cut, but most impressed by the intelligent questions she asked to help me get to clarity about the type of cut that would suite my lifestyle.

Nicole Rodriguez Went to get a fresh set. The lady was clipping off my old set. When she got to my other hand she clipped off too much and hit my nail bed. And not just a little but a lot. I bled and yelled out. I been getting my nails done for a long time and this has never happened. Not to mention she still charged 65 dollars even though she messed up my finger. Been 24 hrs and my finger is still throbbing. Not ok. It still bleeding if i move my finger too much.

Angie Shepard I absolutely love Layer Salon! Tricia is absolutely amazing with blondes and especially helping to cover my grays in a very natural way. She’s amazing with my fine and rather thin hair too! My daughter sees Nick who is absolutely a rockstar and does amazing things with her long hair and is an expert at highlighting and long layered cuts! I absolutely love Michelle who helps with everything in the salon and Jean who runs it. Everyone there is so welcoming and extremely talented!

Shera Eichler Dan has been working his magic on my complicated short, platinum ‘do for years. He’s masterful. And has a shining personality to match. I shall never stray. My daughters have also had cut and color with almost all the stylists and never had a bad outcome. Talent and experience abound at Layer Beauty. Scheduling is a breeze and you can also expect a smile & warm welcome from the staff. My favorite part of Layer Beauty Boutique (aside from Dan, of course) is that it offers luxurious, high-end results in a beautiful yet comfortable and approachable environment. Nothing stuffy or pretentious here. The best of the best.

Jennifer Fonseca You have to have your person when it comes to getting your hair done and I can assure you that every stylist at Layer Beauty Boutique is the best and Qualified to be your person. I go to Jean, other members of my family got to Tressa and o also know from experience that Nick is awesome! Caroline Brammer I wish I could get my hair cut every week because Amys shampoo packs the punch of a full-body massage. Her consultation was also thorough, and she tailored the cut to my fine/wavy hair type. Its the best lived-in haircut Ive ever gotten, and its grown out so cute. Im going again soon for a refresh!

Carrie I have been going to Little Sister Salon for over 10 years now! As a curly girl, I know it can be difficult to find someone that is skilled at cutting curly hair. Little Sister Salon has several curly hair specialists. Marisol is my hairstylist and she is wonderful! So sweet and highly skilled at what she does. All of the other staff are friendly and the place has a chill vibe. I love the decor and the beautiful fiddle leaf fig named Hector. Highly recommend!

Ellie Sohn I went to windy hair salon. Got haircut and perm. Its little pricy but money will worth every single penny. Got so much compliments. And if you are not satisfied or wanting to trim more, they will always get another appointment for you for that.

Nicole Reviews I go to Mamta Sah for my eyebrow threading and she is incredible! I’m very picky about my eyebrows and I refuse to let anyone, but her, touch them. I have gone to Mamta to have them threaded multiple times, and every single time they come out perfect. I’ve never had a bad experience (thin brows, unevenness) when coming here. She is also incredibly sweet and welcoming and always makes me feel at home when I come to see her. She takes her time when she’s working on your brows and her patience and attention to detail definitely shows in her work. Another huge plus is how clean her studio is. If you’re big on cleanliness like I am, this is the place for you because she keeps everything sterile and cleans in between clients which a lot of other threading places fail to do. Highly recommend her!!

Ali Pinaire I am thrilled with my experience at Wild Orchid. After living in Austin for 10 years, Ive finally found my go-to hair stylist. Becky O did an incredible job with my highlights, matching them perfectly to my skin tone and making them look very natural. The haircut was exactly what I asked for. I left the salon feeling so confident, and I’ve received many compliments in the 1.5 weeks since Becky did my hair. She is great at what she does. If you book with her, you can rest assured that you are in good hands. Thank you for making me feel amazing!

Kaitlin Ramirez Unfortunately had a bad experience with a full balayage coloring service from Ashley Kniffin that left my hair with orange / dark yellow chunks despite walking through that I wanted a natural warm blonde tone and looking at a photo from Pinterest during a pre-appointment consultation. Ashley was nice to fix some of the areas after my appointment and I was scheduled to come in for a 3rd time to tone and blend more but my appointment as canceled last minute and I was told I would have to see a different stylist and pay on top of the $400 I already spent to fix it. Now Im left with hair that needs to be fixed by another salon right before the holidays. Please do yourself a favor and do not make the mistake I did; go to a different salon.

Sonia Prasad Maraiah is kind and professional...I went to her for lash extensions and they looked beautiful! She was precise and gentle...felt like a butterfly was putting lashs on me! She is also responsive with texts if you have questions..I got compliments on my lashes and would definitely schedule a session with her again!

Vi B Maraiah is amazing! She took such good care of me for my lash lift and eyebrow shaping. I was needing a pampered spa experience and I got it. I even dozed off during the services which shows how calm and relaxing everything the whole thing was. My lashes and brows look perfect, and I can’t wait to go back!

Routie Assistant Maraiah is amazing, very sweet and extremely professional. I after moving to the Austin area from Houston, I had a hard time finding a lash tech that listened to my wants and preference of lashes, and application technique. She not only listened, but did an excellent job of ensuring that when she applied my lashes they were to my preference by looking at previous photos and hearing how I liked them applied, and what my expectations were. Her studio is very professional and extremely clean! I would highly recommend her!!
