Cindy Alvarez After Ruben at RC Salon botched my hair and cut the left side thinner and shorter, I called Bella Salon. Kaylee or Kayleigh told me not to worry and that Sage would repair what Ruben damaged. Ruben ruined my hair Thursday and Master Stylist Sage left me amazed two days later! She washed hair and told me how she would cut and layer my hair. She showed me how to round brush for a full wavy look or allow it to air dry and release the curls. Shannon at front desk took a marvy video of Sages exceptional treatment of my hair. You will be happy if you have thick/wavy/curly hair and go to Bella Salon. Sage knows how to style. I will not trust my hair to anyone but Sage at Bella Salon. All the stylists at Bella Salon know the art of a magnificent cut. Thank you Sage. I purchased Oribe products because my hair needs taming and it leaves my hair baby soft. In Italian, Bella means beautiful. Every woman deserves to be beautiful at any age.

Africa Ibarra Melanie at Bella Salon has been the best hairstylist I’ve let near my hair in years. She always goes above and beyond with every and any service, big or small and I can trust her 10000% with my hair (which is hard off me to do) She is always incredibly friendly and makes the time pass by so quickly with her bubbly and funny personality. I stay recommending her to friends and peers.

Lori Matthews I have been going to Mel at Bella Salon for a couple of years. Mel is the best ever with my hair. She always gets it 100% right. Mel also stays on time. It is great because I can actually plan something after my hair appointment and get there on time. The entire Bella environment is energetic and fun. The waiting area is comfy and welcoming. I am so glad I found Bella Salon and Melanie.

Grace Maxwell Tavis I had a great haircut with Ren!! She was so sweet and I really enjoyed my first time here. The shampoo came with a scalp massage! I will definitely plan on going back.

Diana Flores I had an amazing experience at Garbo Salon! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The shampoo experience was incredibly relaxing—they give you a short scalp massage that makes all the difference. Meghan was absolutely amazing! She listened to what I wanted and gave me a beautiful haircut and style. I usually don’t do much with my hair since I don’t have a lot, but she made it look full and fresh, like I just stepped out of a magazine. I highly recommend this salon and Meghan for anyone looking for top-notch service!

Domenica Nino I received a blowout at Garbo Salon and it was the best shampoo experience I’ve ever had and I’m very picky. I was taken to a separate relaxing room where my hair was washed and soothing music was playing in the background. The head massage was so relaxing, I almost fell asleep. The blowout was also top-notch and very relaxing. Thanks so much Garbo! You made my day :)

Patience Virgin First timer here! Found the shop on Google and booked off of reviews. I appreciate that Shonda provides a service and also educates. This is truly appreciated when you are not the professional. Just proves that she cares about hair care and educating clients as well as going what she enjoys. We will be back! Oh and when you walk in very welcoming, I love to see people enjoying their career. The booking site is easy to use. Please note I hate online booking but it was not difficult at all.

Teresa Baião Knowing how busy this salon gets and specially at the end of the year, I booked over the phone in November for an appointment in December. The booking was a very simple and easy process. When I got to the salon I was welcomed by Luis who would also be the professional doing my hair. I went there for washing & conditioning, cutting some ends and for a styling. I wanted to do a ponytail with my own hair and I also had the picture for the style I was looking for. Luis did an amazing job. His attention to details and educating how I could maintain the style afterwards was great. I got so many compliments on the hair and it was just perfect. As I’m writing this review, I’m almost 1 week after and it’s still holding very well.

Kieara Monet I cant recommend Jasmine at Salon Xchange enough! She’s absolutely amazing at what she does. I go to her for a silk press and a cut, and every time, I leave with hair that feels healthy and looks fantastic. Jasmine has played a huge role in helping my hair grow out while always focusing on its health, which I really appreciate. Her attention to detail and personalized approach to my hair care always leave me smiling when I walk out the door. The atmosphere at Salon Xchange is welcoming, and you can tell that Jasmine truly cares about her clients. I’m so grateful for her expertise and the confidence she gives me with every visit!

Kendra Mumpuni Vanessa is absolutely amazing! Ive been getting my hair done by her for a while now, and every single time she nails it. Shes not only incredibly talented but also kind, professional, and truly listens to what you want. I always leave feeling confident and refreshed. She also cuts my husbands hair, and he’s just as impressed every time. It’s not easy to find someone who consistently does such a great job with both women’s and men’s hair, Vanessa is that rare gem! Kali E I have been coming to Urban Betty for the past 5 years and have been going to Taylor Seifert exclusively. She has perfected my blonde color and haircut so well that she knows exactly what to do every time I come in. I am continuously amazed by her level of expertise and efficiency. I even trusted Taylor with doing my cut and color for my wedding and it turned out perfectly. Could not recommend her more!!

Danielle Sorresso I’ve been going to this Urban Betty location since early 2021. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming but I really go here for Taylor. I have curly hair and have had a really hard time finding someone who gives me a great haircut. Since day 1, Taylor has always done an amazing job! From short cuts to long and lots of layers, she can always keep my hair texture top of mind when I’m wanting a particular style and nails it every time. She’s wildly talented and also has some badass style! For curly girls looking for your next stylist, I highly recommend!

Erika Aldrich Murga I love my stylist, Alex. She has been getting my hair cut for 8 years now. =) The hair wash ritual, especially the hot towel and essential oils, is relaxing. That is a unique service I havent experienced anywhere else.

Casey Cobb I love the relaxing atmosphere and the lively attitude of all of the workers! Everyone seems so happy that you are there and excited to leave you feeling your best. Bryson tailors your haircut to best suit your individual style. I highly recommend him!

K M Did the salon change ownership? I used to love booking blow outs here because you could book last minute and always get an amazing blow out regardless of which stylist you had. My last few appointments have been super hit or miss, and the risk doesn’t feel worth it given their prices are so much higher than other alternatives in town. Also, the last two stylists I’ve had have been unfriendly/not in great moods. Maybe the salon isn’t paying enough to attract good stylists/not be a bit miserable place to work? Have always found haircuts here to be super hit or miss, but bummed to see that trickle down to blow outs now as well.

Zoe O’neill Gracie is the best hairstylist I’ve ever had. Me being a teenager at the time she was doing my hair I always wanted to keep up with the latest hair trends, gracie always new what I was talking about and did exactly what I had in mind. Not only was she able to do that but she also was able to match hair colors that better matched my complexion so it looked natural. The first picture being a before and the rest being after. Beyond beautiful colors and dimension!

Natalie Stambro Having lived in Austin most of my life, I’ve tried just about every salon in town, but Headspace is on another level. I can confidently say I’ll never go anywhere else. That’s all thanks to Taylor B., who is truly a hair magician. I have never received more compliments on my hair in my entire life. Since seeing her, anytime I leave the house with my hair done, I get stopped by actual strangers asking where I go. Not only is her work the best, but I genuinely like spending that time with her. She’s sweet, funny, and so easy to talk to, which makes those long blonding sessions fly by. If you’re looking for a stylist who will make you constantly complimented, Taylor is the one.

Katie Ferguson Taylor M is AMAZING! As a recent Mom I had a long gap between appointments and Taylor just got me right back in action (see embarrassing before pic and after below). She helped me come up with a plan of what would work best for me in the future. After the great color she also did a fabulous blowout. I cannot recommend her enough!!!

Regina Shvets Berenice was so attentive and really indulged my hair to a great treatment. She made sure to understand exactly what it is that I wanted for my hair and gave really great suggestions for my hair type and situation. I appreciated her effort in making sure I was 100% satisfied and I felt so well taken care of. I love my new haircut and highlights!

Panda Bui I grow my hair out for three years before cutting at least 15 inches off to donate (I can get up to 22 inches sometimes). Ive been doing this for 6-7 years now, which means I dont get my hair cut often. Was this place a bit pricey for a hair cut? Yes. But it was a nice treat for myself, and I feel it was more than worth it. My stylist was Kate. She was gentle, quick without feeling rushed, and all around pleasant. The cut and styling was great. I got complimented all day on my hair at the mall and restaurants I went to afterwards. Incredible hair washing and blow drying experience, period. Has me debating an annual trim between donation chops for this next round just for the wash, scalp massage, hot towel, and the least anxiety inducing blow dry experience of my life. Also I think she picked up on the fact that Im not much of a talker and therefore didnt engage in conversation with me after a while, which I was glad for. You can ask my friends. One of my favorite pastimes is sitting in silence with my thoughts. Great experience all around! Highly recommend. I even told my inclined friends about my experience at milk and honey immediately after.

Majick Robinson I loved my wedding nails from Milk and Honey Salon! The staff was so friendly and professional, which made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable. The spa atmosphere is beautiful and calming—perfect for getting pampered before a big event. I got gel nails for both my hands and toes, and they looked absolutely stunning. I highly recommend Milk and Honey to anyone looking for quality service and a touch of luxury!

Victoria Adesoba Brittany was a life saver today! I got a VERY BAD haircut yesterday and she came through in helping me fix it on super short notice on Christmas Eve! She was very informative and gave me so many helpful tips and products to get my hair back on track and her prices are exceptional! If you’re looking for someone for textured hair in Austin, look no further than Brittany! So glad I found her!

Cooper Lisa Brittany did a great job teaching me about wigs and helping with an install. I’m pretty tender headed and her braiding didn’t hurt at all! Communication was good and pricing was fair. I would definitely recommend :)

Von I’zaac Brittany not only fit me in without an appointment, she was very kind, professional and gave me the exact hairstyle I wanted WITH JUST ONE LOOK AT THE PICTURE I SHOWED HER. Definitely going back anytime I need my hair done.

Becky Chacon Kate is absolutely gifted. I keep coming back because we collaborate on my nail art designs and she just keeps blowing it out of the water. She suggested nail builder and it was the best idea. My nails are growing strong and healthy. Also the cuticle care is top-notch. I love my monthly visits with Kate along with the monthly cocktails. And Ali, shes just such a beautiful soul. The nail art between these two ladies is worth the visits. 2025 update: Kate has moved to her own salon at Orange Door Studio.

Kara Hedlund The holy grail of self care. Not only is everyone a master of their craft, but kind, down to earth and loving. The membership package is unlike any other in Austin. Hannahs hair magic and Angels legit wizard body work has me on cloud 9. Support these folks because well, they deserve it! The space is so beautiful, funky and fresh. Cant wait to keep spending time with these lovely people.

Gabs Garcia I had an amazing massage with Angel during Vinyl Beauty Bars quiet hours, and I left feeling completely revitalized! My body had been feeling quite tense and overworked, but Angel provided a high-quality, therapeutic massage with deep, consistent pressure that melted away my stress. The room’s soothing ambiance, complete with my choice of relaxing spa music and calming mood lighting, made the experience even more enjoyable. I walked out feeling refreshed, decompressed, and fully satisfied with the service. I look forward to booking monthly massages with Angel.

mary castro I’m deavastated that I even have to leave this review but it’s very disappointing that I can’t book an appointment here ever again. In her words “when u do a no call no show you can’t book here ever again”. I’m like I’ll pay what ever fee to schedule an appointment again. She rudely said yea sorry unfortunately that’s the policy and that she couldn’t help me with that. All because I missed one appointment i get treated like garbage. If you do decide to go to The Black Orchid I advise you to never miss an appointment or they will treat you like they never knew you. It’s really disgusting when you bring someone business and you tip well all for them to treat you like scum! Yea thank you but no thank you!

Olyver Delacruz Went here and got a great experience/cut. I don’t usually like getting my haircut because of the risk of it getting messed up, but here, Erez did a great job and knew what he was doing. I would definitely trust him with my hair again.

Mikayla Conde I went into the salon and right away i felt a good energy!! I asked for a trim and hair dye and got way much more as a bday gift from him, he did and amazing job and loved the outcome. would totally recommend to anyone looking for a good hair salon!! He has 2 dogs and they are very playful and cute and are very good company, he sat them right next to me which i loved. He offered me and my dad some homemade coffee which was amazing! 10/10.

hunti boi This is one of the best haircuts I’ve received in a while. I recently colored my hair and he knew exactly what I needed to even out the color. He was very thorough and his attention to detail was like no other. I highly recommend this salon for a haircut if you want to impress everyone in your life. He also has the cutest and most well behaved dogs.

Anna Ozelius I have been working with Bernadette to help get the best skin for my upcoming wedding. She has been wonderful to work with, addresses my skin concerns and suggests the best treatment plans all within my budget. If you are in need of skin treatments or just a spa day, I can’t recommend her services enough, I always look forward to seeing her.

Fernandez Valencia 90-minute custom Facial with aesthetician Bernadette H. was fantastic! She addressed my skin complaints and a thorough assessment was made during my session. She was able to remove some of my stubborn milia pimples. Her neck and head massage was also great, strong pressure as I prefer!! The products used were very mildly scented and had a super clean scent to them. The space was super cute and walking distance from Discada tacos and Hillside Farmacy. They have a few spots in front of their spot which made it much easier not to stress over parking. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing self-care session, complete with a glass of your favorite beverage.

Samantha Whitford I just had my first facial with Bernadette and I’ll definitely be coming back! She has an extensive background in skincare and is extremely knowledgeable about all the products and ingredients she uses. She walked me through each step, explaining the benefits of every product, and even shared tips to maximize the results of my facial. It was super informative—and I left glowing! I can’t wait for my next appointment.

Kit Shields I love this salon. I’m leaving Austin and in the efforts of leaving everything better than I found it, imo, I want to give reviews to places that really made a difference to me. I love this Salon. The owner is a great human with an attitude and smile that’s contagious. Everyone she employs seems to appreciate her and the job they have and do. The shampoo room. It’s amazing. Dark, plants and relaxing. And they carry vegan products. Which for me, is top tier. I’d recommend this salon to anyone solely based on vibe and appearance and the way it’s ran. Top notch.

Elise Martin I’m so happy with my powder brows! I first went to see Lindsay a year and a half ago to get brows. She was so helpful in getting me the look I wanted. I got so many compliments on my new look. I recently went back to get them refreshed and once again the same great experience. I highly recommend her.

Misty Cannon I am a license barber/hairstylist for over 25 years. Salons by JC is very well ran and the service they provide not only to all customers but also to salon suite renters, is above any place i have ever leased. Love the concierge service and the acertiveness to tackling any issues we may have making it easy to run our on business. I would recommend leasing from Salons by JC to anyone.

Daisy I texted Courtney if she had availability for a bang trim and she approved me for Friday April 12th @5:15pm. I get there on time, knocked on the door and nothing. Around 5:20pm I text her if we’re still down for the appointment and she replies w something along the lines of “she didn’t realize how late it was and she was stuck in traffic”, and asked if she could take me @6pm. Annoyed but anyway, I agreed since I had a flight to catch @10pm that night for Florida and I wanted my bangs done. She gets me in, apologized for being late. I show her pics for my bang trim (wispy curtain bangs BELOW my eyebrows) and she says she can do it. I ended up with choppy, uneven and ABOVE EYEBROW level bangs. I ended up paying $25, instead of $20 for whatever reason, because she didn’t inform me of a price change for this second appointment. I didn’t say anything, didn’t fight it, grabbed my stuff, paid and left. It’s not like my hair can be glued back. Anyway, I won’t be going back to her again. It might’ve been a one time thing for her, but it was and still is a big inconvenience for me.

Kathryn Bruce Sydni is my stylist and I trust her so much! She is professional and so friendly, I felt so relaxed in her chair. Sydni is a stylist who listens to what you want - and that matters! The building was easy to find, lots of parking, and a cozy atmosphere inside. I was greeted at the front desk, and I’ll definitely be back for another appointment! Thank you JC & Sydni!

Alisa Estrada Jacqueline is very good at what she does. I went in with eyebrows that have been done and they were totally uneven and I was totally unsatisfied. Jacqueline without a doubt said that she can fix them and she did. They look super great and I am so in love with my new eyebrows my experience was so comfortable and I wouldnt go anywhere else. The best service Ive had in a salon. Highly recommend her.

Hillary Bradsher I’ve been searching for a new hairstylist and I saw Torres Hair Design being built in my neighborhood. The salon looked gorgeous, and so I gave them a try this week. The salon itself was so warm, welcoming and stylish, I really liked the vibes. I had an appointment with a cut and color with Maribel. She listened to what I wanted for my hair and totally delivered. I got a low light to break up my flat and monotone blond highlights and she added some foils near my face and some hand painted highlights around the sides and back of my head. It’s exactly how I hoped it would look, a healthy dimensional blonde/“bronde” look that blends with my natural light brown hair. The cut is so flattering, she left my hair feeling healthy and refreshed while keeping my length. The blowout was awesome and honestly still looked good the next morning when I woke up. Maribel was super sweet as well! I’m so happy with my hair and also happy to find such an excellent and luxury salon experience in my neighborhood!

Danielle Hamilton Torres opened up in my neighborhood and I was looking for a new hair place so I decided to try it. I’m so so happy with how Monica did my hair!! The color is perfect for me and I also love how she cut and styled my bangs. I’ve been getting so many compliments and am so grateful that she did such a great job. Also, my hair feels so healthy since getting it done. Usually it’s the opposite- it often feels dry after but my hair feels more conditioned and healthy. Highly recommend!! THANK YOU Monica!

Nicole Lemasters My coworker has been going to Sadi for microblading for years and she always looks great. After having microblading done somewhere else I needed some corrections and went to see Sadi. She was very though with her consultation before she started on me, explaining all options and marking out my facial features. She gave me post op instruction both before and after my treatment which I appreciated. She took her time and spent the full 2 hours or so with me in the room talking me through each step of her procedure. She even had me follow up with her a few days later via photos/text. I am so happy I took my coworkers recommendation for my microblading corrections as Sadi did perfect work on my brows.

Iman Barreh My experience here was so great with Sadi! When I first came she was so helpful with everything especially coming in with damaged hair and my hair breaking off. She told me what was going on so kindly and thoroughly explained the whole process to me. After using her Helplex and being consistent with keeping my hair healthy my curls and hair look so good! Definitely recommend to anyone for a quality experience!

Heather P Sadi has been microblading my eyebrows for many years now, and they look so great every time. She takes the time to carefully map out the shape of your brow, she is great at matching the color that works best for your skin tone ( I have very fair skin) and she makes the process pleasant and painless! She is so nice to visit with as well. My eyebrows look so much more defined and the strokes look so natural! Thank you for giving me great brows once again Sadi! See you next time!
