Russ King Im going to agree with Cassies post do not let Ben Turner fool you with his intro about God. I feel like he used that as a manipulation tactic because im also a believer. Do not hire this man. I paid him $2000 to help my wife. I had multiple meetings with him. When I would explain any circumstance to him, he would say im going to get her bonded, then talk to parole to get her out. He said that every time we would talk. He NEVER went and spoke to my wife not one time. Date of the bond hearing is the first time he speaks to her. Takes her into the back room and says "what is wrong with you?" Then continues to attack her. I finally get in there, shes heated and ask me what is this? She said you told me that he was going to get me bonded amd then contact parole for release. I said that is exactly what he told me. He tried to say well im seeing where youre at. He gets the bond done, which was a fiasco. Then he said he was trying to contact parole, left messages, no one would call him back. He never contacted a supervisor, nothing. So I call, they said they wouldnt talk to him, so I call Austin. Austin says did he fill out the form with parole office so that they can talk to him? Im like, shoot, I assume so, but i dont know. I call him and ask, he gets pissed at me for calling and says he has never had to do it, but will. An hour later, his assistant Jackie calls me and asks me how to fill the form out and then comes with "Im not going to sit here for an hour trying to figure out how to fill this out!" Unbelievable! Next court date, we fire him. I asked for a print out of where my money was spent? I want an itemized statement. I said I should get some of the retainer back. He says you arent getting a damn nickel. I go to the front and say I need my bill where my money went. Jackie says well ill have to get it. I said you have nothing already started that shows at least where we are at? She had NOTHING! So says youll have to come tomorrow to get it. Im like so you can out in whatever to make it match what i paid you? You think im stupid? Well clearly i was for hiring him in the first place. Please do not waste a nickel on this man.

Mike Riddle I retained Mr. Michael Wilson to represent me in a divorce that started about 9 months ago. My experience has been that he has routinely failed to return phone calls, reply to emails, advise me in timely manner of hearings, followed up on matters pertaining to the case in a timely manner, and worked to move the case forward. Yesterday, I complained about it, and his response was to just quit. He followed up on that by sending me a motion to the court that seems to effectively blame me for his poor performance. His motion states that there is "good cause" for him to withdraw and implies that this is because he is unable to communicate with me as if this is somehow my fault. Ive been reasonable and more than patient. And, along the way, hes blamed things on his staff which seems to turn over at a very high rate. So, draw your own conclusions from that as well as what Ive written about my experience. Last comment: When I found this firm, it seemed to be located in Cleburne which is what I wanted since that it the location of the court where the divorce was filed. It seems that actually this firm was purchased by some larger, high-falutin firm out of Dallas.

OogaBoogaMan I can now honestly say, I know what it’s like to have an attorney represent me who is THAT GUY! William Mason is THAT GUY! I didn’t’ finish probation on a 20-year-old case. I only finished half of it. Bill scheduled a hearing regarding the revocation of probation. That’s like a trial. Witnesses, questioning, swearing in, the whole thing. I was innocent of the charges which isn’t enough. You still must defend yourself from the accusations. They offered me 3 years before the hearing and Bill said, “Hey, there’s no way. This doesn’t make sense”. Then when the hearing started, they suddenly wanted to give me 10 years! I couldn’t believe it. But my lawyer was Bill Mason! Now I know what it’s like to have THAT GUY for my defense lawyer! He was brilliant! I won that hearing and all charges were dismissed. My family was in court and couldn’t hear what the judge said, but my dad said, “4 or 5 people turned around after the judge ruled and started grinning at him”. William Mason! Can’t recommend him enough. He’s THAT GUY!

Nighthawk Used this guy years ago, promise me justice. He lives up to his first name. Make no mistake he will take your money and throw you to the mercy of the court. You will never hear from him until your court date and you will basically have to represent yourself unless you want to hand over more money on the spot even after paying up front. Very dishonest!
