1 /5 Mike Riddle: I retained Mr. Michael Wilson to represent me in a divorce that started about 9 months ago.
My experience has been that he has routinely failed to return phone calls, reply to emails, advise me in timely manner of hearings, followed up on matters pertaining to the case in a timely manner, and worked to move the case forward.
Yesterday, I complained about it, and his response was to just quit. He followed up on that by sending me a motion to the court that seems to effectively blame me for his poor performance. His motion states that there is "good cause" for him to withdraw and implies that this is because he is unable to communicate with me as if this is somehow my fault. Ive been reasonable and more than patient.
And, along the way, hes blamed things on his staff which seems to turn over at a very high rate. So, draw your own conclusions from that as well as what Ive written about my experience.
Last comment: When I found this firm, it seemed to be located in Cleburne which is what I wanted since that it the location of the court where the divorce was filed. It seems that actually this firm was purchased by some larger, high-falutin firm out of Dallas.
