1 /5 E. Martinez: I went to fill my propane tank at this Tractor Supply and unfortunately I experienced subtle racism whilst doing so. There were two employees standing directly at the entrance, one of which I believe to be a manager. They both watched me walk in and out of the store twice without saying a word. I was soon informed that the 2 employees standing at the entrance were giving out discounts to the first 50 customers, yet they never offered me one. I went back inside to pay for my tank, except this time I was right behind two white customers. The employees at the entrance immediately greeted them and gave them the discount, but then completely ignored me for a third time. Not even a friendly greeting at the least. Discount aside, EVERY customer deserves to be treated with respect. Managers are supposed to lead and set a good example for their employees. Treating people differently based on race is extremely disappointing. Not to mention what a failure it is to ignore a paying customer.
