4 /5 Jason B: Really enjoyed visiting the trains. You are able to view and walk through one steam, and two diesel engines with multiple carts. Unique experience for those curious about what travel was like generations ago. Would like to see further restoration done on these important pieces of history.
1 /5 shayden: For my little brothers sixth birthday, we drove 2 hours. And they werent open. it was closed and we could see trains, but it was 90 degrees outside. luckily, theres another museum close to it, but come on! He was so sad!
1 /5 Julian Perez: We went on a Saturday noon and it was closed. And the display trains were inside the fence cant go up and look at them in person. It will be nice if they will have them outside the fence so people and kids in public can come look at them in person. Come on wichita falls!.
5 /5 Hope Love: Excellent, even got to meet the engineer and conductor. Even asked me if I wanted A ride on the train, but I got frightened and simply replied with A no thank you. This is when the Heritage Society was where the new Title and Land Deeds of Trust building is. SINCERELY thank you for showing me a splendid afternoon Lisa Mari Hobbs
1 /5 Charrie Shockey: Drove over an hour to visit WF and read on the site where it said that they are open limited hours during the winter, mainly only on nice days. Well today (January) it was 70 degrees and they were not open. Very disappointing!

christina carter: This place is gorgeous, smaller trails & longer to accommodate everyone. Mostly pavement but able to go off to the side for some gravel / rocky ones. This is a LEASHED park & they have signs about reporting off leash dogs. So if you’re looking for an off leash hike, this isn’t the right park for you. Obviously, there’s lots of tall grass. We saw a rattlesnake on the side of the trail, so just be aware of your surroundings during prime snake time.
    Georgetown Visitors Center - Georgetown
    Georgetown Visitors Center
Penny Schaefer: This is a nice resource if you are visiting Georgetown. They have great brochures and maps highlighting local places to visit. It is attended so you can also ask questions. We found a highly recommended restaurant and truly enjoyed it. An extra plus is that they have clean bathrooms!
    Creative Playscape - Georgetown
    Creative Playscape
Robyn Lewis: The park is fantastic! Lots of activities for a wide range of ages and abilities. Definitely need to check out the area behind the recreational center! There is a skatepark and a splash pad. Nice restrooms. Wide open with lots of space to play!
    The Williamson Museum - Georgetown
    The Williamson Museum
Michael ONeill: Awesome little museum! Free admission. Showcases the history behind Williamson County, covering hundreds of years of history in the area. Nice little gift shop as well. It is a small museum, renovating was going on. Talked to the outstanding, young gentleman that worked at the museum; he mentioned a new room that would have the visitor enter the cockpit of a chinook. He is currently working on that cool project. He was, indeed, a super-friendly gentleman. If you want to know about Williamson Countys history check their museum out.

Tecoria Strother: I enjoyed this park. Great view of the lake. Awesome place to go swimming, fishing , hiking or boating. The lake is large. Various areas to park and pull up to the water. Plenty of parking space available. Bathrooms available for use. Shaded area to get cooled down from the sun.
    Rivery Park - Georgetown
    Rivery Park
Christopher Ross: Great little park. We went to fish, and saw some, but they just weren’t biting. I feel like it’s over fished. Great area though.

Mr. No Tengo Dinero: Nice riverside park! Quite spacious and you’ll get to choose either to play at the playground or chill at the riverside! Nice walking path along the river as well! Good family friends time guarantee! Since it’s a nice spot, sometimes it gets dirty with trash due to irresponsible people but other than that it’s nice! At least we enjoyed our visit.
    Wolf Ranch Lookout - Georgetown
    Wolf Ranch Lookout
michael salas: Nice little spot to watch the sunset. You can pull right up and park. My only concern was being so close to the road with heavy traffic. But that’s probably just me being extra paranoid.
