5 /5 Raven Aguilar: We love this park!! Its a great place for kiddos to run out all their energy and have fun while doing it. What makes it a pretty cool park is getting to see all the trains ride by and the conductors waving to the children. Its all enclosed by a fence and theres only one way in and one way out. Theres also a separate area for smaller children to play and its very accommodating for parents who have littles that vary in age.

5 /5 Joshua Carraway: To keep it simple, I had many birthday parties here, so has my siblings. Its a great park, great for younger kids, and especially so for teens. Im 19 and still like going there, lots of places to climb, you can play lava tag throughout the park, and it actually be fun. Its probably the best city park in at least a 1-2 or so hour radius of my house.

West Temple Community Park - Temple

Faith Y.: It is a great picnic area to host kids birthday parties and get-togethers especially if you have kids. It gives kids to stay entertained for a couple of hours when there is a water splash pad right next to the playground. Public restrooms are there as well if you need them, it feels like pretty safe since there is a police department and a fire department right next to the park.

motomavrick: The dog parks are nice. Could use some more shade for us lighter skinned people. The dog watering area can get a bit muddy.

Miller Spring Park -

Aria Novinger: Peaceful and nice! Couldn’t find the trails but we were through the park entrance, not the nature center one, so they’re probably clearer up there. Saw tadpoles and I believe tortoises, as well as there was some people from UMHB that day having some fun boating. We didn’t stay too long, but I would still recommend it. It feels like a fantasy forest to me.

Cedar Creek Wildlife Management Area - Temple

William Legg: Probably the worst WMA Ive seen in my life. Its an overgrown parking lot. Very unkept, litter laying around and out on the banks. Now I will make it a point to see how others are operated. The money has to be going somewhere.

Marie: My boyfriend and I loved this park. Had no idea that it had a spray park. My son loves the bball court. The playground is a little much for my 1 yr old but she prefers the spray park anyway. The park was clean. Didnt see a lot of trash every where. We didnt go into the bathroom so Im not sure how that was.

San Antonio Museum of Art - San Antonio

Cameron Emery: Beautiful exhibits. They really did work hard on making sure there is unique and interesting pieces here, which definitely is not the case everywhere. Takes a couple hours to get through it all, depending on how long you stare. Currently running an Indian Exhibit that is well done and informative. Gift shop is available with all the requisite merchandise you can ponder. Would recommend to visitors in the area.

San Antonio Missions National Historical Park -

Semra G.: Explore historic sites on two wheels! Rent a bike and ride along the stunning landmarks, from the picturesque church to the almost intact aqueduct. The scenic riverwalk is just nearby, perfect for a leisurely bike ride or a relaxing picnic. A wonderful way to spend a day out!

San Antonio Botanical Garden - San Antonio

S P Fletcher: The kind of botanical gardens principally showing off native plants! Why are conservative ecological principles so important - go to the San Antonio Botanical Gardens to find out! The walking paths are great, tons of wildlife, great diversity of habitats from desert to wetlands, and indoor controlled climate exhibits in a central installation of the venue. There are multiple places to stop and rest, however, indoor air conditioning might be a consideration for those in concern. And not that a couple going on a date need to be fit as fiddler ferns, let the heat grow that transpiration up and escape to a great urban botanical afternoon delight! If you need help doing it, slow down and observe the birds and the bees. And if you’re still unsure or curious, there are plenty of labels, and many wonderful species, in well established gardens. This garden has love all through it with innumerable memory markers and looks to be solid donors supporting this awesome community space. If one would question if Texans’ love for plants and nature, and respecting, learning, and sharing nature, you’ll find no doubt here! Hit the gift shop on the way in and grab a popsicle and then pop in again on the way out and pickup some heartfelt items as gifts to your friends or to bring home some quality to your home. Imagine a world where we humans saw the whole planet as worshipful as a human made botanical gardens!?!! A visit to a botanical gardens might be a great way to start getting out in nature more! The Alamo - San Antonio

Erico El Chico Rico: The Alamo is a place that is definitely worth seeing at least one time in your life. There is a slight discount if you are a military veteran or a first responder which is nice. Theres also a gift shop where you can buy T-shirts and books and things like that. Overall it is a very nice exhibit pretty well maintained and professional and if you know about the history it is very interesting to go around and see everything and imagine how it happened. There is a pretty amazing collection of all of the ordinance and rifles, cannonballs and so forth as well as a lot of different pictures from history. You will leave this place with a sense of deep thought and remembrance about the significance of history and where we are today.
