1 /5 Wu: Made me pay upfront before my procedure. Overpaid initially, and had to make them refund over 1000 dollars. Was the biggest hassle getting in contact with the billing office over the refund. Took dozens and dozens of calls and always hearing excuses. They claimed they delivered the check to me but "accidentally" got my address wrong. Horrible management. After countless calls of asking for my refund, I finally was able to get it after 4.5 months..... I dont understand why these hospitals are so money hungry.

5 /5 Richard Herriger: Amazing staff, nurses and surgeons. Took amazing care of my wife who has had two spinal surgeries there so far. The surgeon and his team did an awesome job keeping me informed on how she was doing throughout the entire surgery. Everyone there is amazingly nice and takes pride in their job. Thank you The Physicians Centre Hospital for the amazing care you gave to my wife!

1 /5 Tyler Vail: Over charged by 700$, didnt tell me Id be getting multiple charges. I noticed A YEAR LATER they over charged me and now Im getting a refund. Just do honest business guys... Youre a hospital, I have it hard enough already.

1 /5 Sophia Moody: Where do I start? I’ll start by saying the nurses and doctors are great at the hospital but the billing department needs to be shut down. I had a surgery in February 2024 and they overcharged me (1 out of many that I had there) since then I have had the registration tell me I had a credit sitting on my account for months. For the past 6 months I have been trying to get my refund that they overcharged me for the surgery. I have called and spoke to multiple people in the billing department. It has been excuses after excuses. The last few excuses were there was an emergency and no one can issue a check but me. I was supposed to be given a follow up phone call about it. That never happened. Even the managers didn’t do their job. The only helpful person that works there is Angela. She has been going out of her way to communicate with me. The last thing Angela told me was they are not doing refunds right now. How in the world can you hold someone’s money for MONTHS?!? I’m honestly thinking about filing this with the court and BBB.

1 /5 Sheila Walker: The Imaging Dept. had forgotten that they had checked me in for a cervical, thorasic and lumbar CT exams, one day. After waiting 2.5 hours and following up with them several times, I had decided that I had had enough and I left and went home. I was there due to a nasty fall that i had taken after revisional thorasic surgery 5 weeks prior. The bad thing is, the reason I chose this facility, was because the other 2 hospitals in the area were not any better. So much for healthcare!

Everyone I know thats been here has had bad experiences here, my mother had to stay here for a week and could barely stomach the food, my grandfather stayed here and he was repeatedly forgotten about. However, the real reason Im writing this is because every case has one thing in common, the wait is atrocious. My grandmother was recently brought here via ambulance and they made her wait in the ER for NINE HOURS. There is absolutely zero reason why it should take even a quarter of that time. They couldve taken her to any other hospital in Texas with 9 hours. God have mercy on anyone that is forced to come here in an emergency because there isnt a single sense of urgency in this entire emergency room. The people in charge here should be ashamed of themselves and judging by the numerous other 1-star reviews they deserve to be sued. The lack of effort is even reflected by their automated response system giving the same response to every bad review they get. Its like they know theyre not doing their job and they blatantly dont care.

I had a bad experience at the university clinic but this clinic really went above and beyond for me. This will be my regular care office from now on. Melissa Mize: I am writing about a bad doctor who wrote a wrong Rx on eyeglasses and refused a follow-up to allow me to prove it to get good lenses. Dont ever use Dr. Posvar. I am a Veteran and must go where the VA sends me. Even when he is wrong, I must use this bad doctor. But what to do if doctor refuses to see me and VA said they already paid him, so I have to go back to him? Yet doctor refuses to see me, and after I made appointment his nurse calls me to cancel. Temple VA said they never ran across a doctor refusing to see a patient. They said to call VA Community Care. But thanks to Dr. Posvar, I am out a great deal of money and bought new eyeglasses I cant see out of. VA Community Care said to have my VA primary write a new referral rerouting me to see a new eye doctor for a new vision test. Or simply stated, put in for a new request for service for my vision test by someone other than Baylor Scott and White Dr. Posvar in College Station. I request Dr. Posvar eye doctor from Baylor Scott and White be removed from referral for the VA in the future. I purchased eyeglasses and lenses from Sams Club. They made eyeglasses correctly to Dr. Posvar Rx. So I might have to pay all over again. Its not Sams Club fault if Dr. Posvar wrote the Rx wrong, so Sams Club is not liable for remaking the lenses again at no charge for a doctor mistake. Especially given the Dr. Posvar refused to check my vision after given the eyeglasses. So, Dr. Posvar screwed me royally, wasting my time and money. Now I must pay to see a second eye doctor for a vision test, and pay all over again $600 for lenses, because Posvar refused to check his work with a follow up exam. Posvar said it was 6 months after he wrote Rx, so hes not liable. It was 5 months due to back surgery. But a follow-up appointment is part of what Posvar got paid for when he accepted my exam and the money. He said my vision was much better which is why he wrote the Rx for twice the weakness of my current eyeglasses (which is why I cant see anything out of them). But now he says my vision is much worse given he did the exam 5 months ago and wrote the Rx then; but refuses to see me to check his work, making this diagnosis without seeing through the phone. Amazing he can make diagnosis over the phone but not in person, w/o rechecking my lenses and vision test. Because of Dr. Posvar refusing to see me, I must pay for a new eye exam and pay for new lenses all over again OUT OF POCKET. Please see to it that Baylor Scott and White Dr. Posvar is taken off the referral list for the VA. Dont ever use this horrible doctor and his nurse.Temple VA said they never ran across a doctor refusing to see a patient.
