Courtlyn Patranella My husband & I just wanted to say how amazed we were by the kindness everyone showed us during our trip here. Missy at the front desk was very helpful and kind. We could not say enough good things about the doctor, Tony Abraham, that treated our two year old son. He was able to calm our son down, was very, very patient with him and quickly assessed the issue. I wish everyone could have this experience with a doctor, especially when it comes to their kid! Thank you so much again Tony. We hope all good things forever come your way!

Christina Trevino My daughter hurt her knee dancing and was convinced it was broken ( she takes after me in being dramatic! ) they entire staff here is amazing !!! From Bailee at the front desk greeting you with a smile to the techs and nurses Morgan ,Jolene , Brook and Christen the very patient radiology tech Laura and of course Dr. Phong who is my daughters absolute favorite!! She said the second he walked into the room she immediately felt better his personality and smile are infectious and light up the room ! She even gladly accepted a shot !!! That never happens !! She says the atmosphere and staff are just so warm and welcoming and make you feel like family ! She gives them a 10/10 !!!

Mack Marsh Dr. Dhaduk and his staff violate patient HIPAA rights and civil rights. They refuse to see patients simply based on their disability. The doctor specifically said ‘it would be a lot of paper work for me’. So, I guess doing their job is too much work. Avoid this schister!

Hannibal Veguilla The Doctor is a solid guy. His staff is awesome. He listens to what you say and works with you on what is best for you and your issues. I have had zero problems using my insurance. Dont mind the bad reviews, probably more going on than what they are saying.

Ben Wyman We had a really good experience here - the surgery went great, staff was very caring, we felt really well treated the whole time. The cafe in the middle of the atrium was a great addition if you’re staying for 12-15 hours in a row and keep needing coffee, and it’s a solid cafe. Subtracting a star just because some bits of the facility need some help. Most of the elevators were out of order, the guest bathrooms were all in rough shape - lights not working, dirty, smelly, etc. They do a great job of having lots of little stations to wait in. I got a lot of work done in a small parlor they had. And you can use the cafeteria seating any time. Also, the hospital is named St. Joseph’s, but they LOVE St. Francis here. One small statue of Joseph in the Atrium, EVERYTHING ELSE is St. Francis art.

Ben Wyman The staff is lovely here, and we had a great experience with brain surgery, which is something you really want to have a good experience with! But facilities are a bit run down - the bathrooms are dilapidated, half the elevators out of order. And for some reason they don’t know how to spell “reverence,” which just kind of annoys me personally.

Ashlynn Rypee Sat in the waiting room for 3 hours, went to the back and the dr looked at my son for 3 seconds and never saw him again. Walked out without my prescription bc it took over an hour to do discharge paperwork. We left at 12:28 am.

Wu Made me pay upfront before my procedure. Overpaid initially, and had to make them refund over 1000 dollars. Was the biggest hassle getting in contact with the billing office over the refund. Took dozens and dozens of calls and always hearing excuses. They claimed they delivered the check to me but "accidentally" got my address wrong. Horrible management. After countless calls of asking for my refund, I finally was able to get it after 4.5 months..... I dont understand why these hospitals are so money hungry.

Richard Herriger Amazing staff, nurses and surgeons. Took amazing care of my wife who has had two spinal surgeries there so far. The surgeon and his team did an awesome job keeping me informed on how she was doing throughout the entire surgery. Everyone there is amazingly nice and takes pride in their job. Thank you The Physicians Centre Hospital for the amazing care you gave to my wife!

kris w I had an amazing experience with the doctors and nurses at this location. They are super helpful and personable. I had a bad experience at the university clinic but this clinic really went above and beyond for me. This will be my regular care office from now on. Nurse Kathryn (Katie) is amazing so is doctor Villarreal. Thank you for taking care of me.

Michael Eagan Great place to wait but not a good place for a emergency. I took my son when he was chocking on a mint. He was vomiting and crying. I passed up the fire station thinking professional medical help would be better. Big mistake he cleared when we got in I told the receptionist the whole story. She went to the back and came out ask for are name. They had a record of us went back said a doctor is not available but you should go to urgent care to make sure it didnt get into his lungs. Thanks no doctor or nurse even bother to come out. Since they care so much about a 4 yr old next time Im going to st joesph or somewhere else. Its not like we had no insurance as he had been there before not sure how you could deny emergency treatment anyway.

Janet Welch My first visit to this er after moving to area 1 year ago. I have a history of back issues. 3 back surgerys, spinal cord damage in neck after it ruptured,I know pain and have learned to cope w I th just an array of home remedy , I never use er or really doctors if I can help it after using an er in town with several complaints of things I was experiencing that were rather scary and something Id never experience, one being half my body went numb, pain in chest, arms, back, psin like Ive never known, after mri, blood work, ekg i recieved my walking papers after being told nothing was wrong all test negative..and that my symptoms I claim to have dont add up to any diagnosis and I need to see mental health..left and went down hill fast ,saw my surgeon pa and told him symptoms.and he told my husband this isnt good and sent me to hospital, diffrent scans of neck and brain it was found that my neck ruptured and was 3/4 thru spinal cord, wentvstraight to surgery. .But my symptoms recently shifted, something diffrent, constant and my ability to walk is heading downhill...came to this er and due to recently leaving g my Id at bank drivethru I was informed I wouldnt be seen, mind you I have a wallet full of things like s.s card, medicare card, cards galore you name it ive got it, enough stuff that I recently took a round-trip flight without my id.The girl at front desk was rude, never asking whats going on,she lacked any fir of empathy or offered even a smile and Im really sorry..nothing,just short, annoyed with questions I had..so going home ,and wondering what they would have done if Id shown up in an ambulance..unbelievable.

Brandi Buzzard My first visit to this emergency room went very well. Most of the staff was kind. Doctor Smiley (I believe) it was, was very kind and helpful. It felt like I was finally being listened to, after years of seeking out help for abdominal and pelvic pain. Not long after my first visit, I followed the follow up guidelines and went back in because my pain had suddenly returned and was worse than before. Sadly, Doctor Smiley was not there and a cold, Doctor Conroy was on shift. The receptionist, nurses, and doctors were bombarding me with questions even though I was doubled over in pain, trying to focus on just listening to them. They all had attitudes and acted like they were angry that I was there again. I got a shot of an anti inflammatory, and told to go home. I’m obviously very angry about having to pay such a large amount of money for cold, rude service and no care or resolution at all. My discharge papers were full of typos and grammar mistakes. I guess my only advice would be: just pray that Doctor Smiley is on that night/day.

Dawson (DizzyOcean3775) I would take star away if I could. Everyone I know thats been here has had bad experiences here, my mother had to stay here for a week and could barely stomach the food, my grandfather stayed here and he was repeatedly forgotten about. However, the real reason Im writing this is because every case has one thing in common, the wait is atrocious. My grandmother was recently brought here via ambulance and they made her wait in the ER for NINE HOURS. There is absolutely zero reason why it should take even a quarter of that time. They couldve taken her to any other hospital in Texas with 9 hours. God have mercy on anyone that is forced to come here in an emergency because there isnt a single sense of urgency in this entire emergency room. The people in charge here should be ashamed of themselves and judging by the numerous other 1-star reviews they deserve to be sued. The lack of effort is even reflected by their automated response system giving the same response to every bad review they get. Its like they know theyre not doing their job and they blatantly dont care.

Misty Walton So I’m giving a 1 star because i had to give a star in order to leave a review! So first things first, i swore i would never use this ER ever again after my son almost lost his leg years ago from this hospital diagnosing my son with a bruise on his leg that had a hole in it, that was actually a staph infection! Well enter today 12-4-2024, and i go back to this ER!! Why did i make this mistake??? I get there with excruciating pains in my lower left and right sides and lower back, they take me back, get my vitals, have me go back to the waiting room….then I’m called to go give a urine sample…then they call me for a ct scan, back to the waiting room i go after that….next up I’m called back for blood, back to the waiting room i go after that…..now here we are 3 hours in and still not back in a room…,finally get called back in a room, to sit for another hour! Next i go to the bathroom, come back only to be followed back in my room by a PA…gave her all my info, she explained what my labs said, and what her concerns were…she prescribed me some pain medicine FINALLY!!! And says she wants me to do another test, and once I’m done with that test it will be sent off and that will take about an hour! So I’m sitting, waiting another 2 hours in my room….in comes a nurse that informs me i am being kicked out of my room so that they can put someone else in the room and that i need to go sit in a chair, and once my labs come back they will put me back in the room i was in!!!! I advised them i would not be leaving, as that is not acceptable!! Why would you have me leave while I’m in pain, just to put someone else in the room, only to kick them out when my results come back??!!!???!!! Makes absolutely no sense!!! So i discharge myself after they advise me they are getting the security to kick me out!!! I promise you, i will get something done about this ER!!! These nurses and doctors, or should i say, so-called nurses and so-called doctors need to go back to school and train on empathy, customer service, and just plain mannerism!!! St Joseph’s is a joke!!! And the little security guards that wanna be cops are the biggest jokes!
