1 /5 Hesam Rezaei: In a setting as charming and historic as San Antonio’s River Walk, The Grotto stands out—but unfortunately, not for the right reasons. Rather than blending harmoniously with its surroundings, this structure feels out of place and disrupts the visual appeal of the area. Its design may be intended to evoke a whimsical or artistic atmosphere, but the execution leaves much to be desired. Personally, I found it jarring and unattractive. I truly hope the city reconsiders its presence in the long term. Sadly, I can’t recommend visiting this site.

5 /5 Lizzy: This is a cool little sight seeing stop that I think is a must see! It’s really a nice little stroll along the water way which is on a concreted trail. And there were so many catfish in that water!! Which I thought was pretty cool to see. I really didn’t know what to expect when I went out there. I am really happy that I went.My family and I really did enjoy our little walk out there.

4 /5 Melody Wilcox: If you dont want to pay ridiculous parking or fight crowds, the Grotto area in the Pearl District was really nice. Not a huge crowd with people walking their pets. We parked close to the Grotto and only paid like $5. If you shop at Pullmans, they will validate parking. Water was murky but Im guessing thats just how the river is. Still was a very nice place

4 /5 Miatha Pizana: Pretty good spot. I expected to be a bit bigger, but its alright. Maybe I have to go again but in the evening rather than afternoon. Sculpting is nice, tho. Maybe take different pics from different angles. Will see.
